-Michael's POV-

"Ashton? What's going on? Why did you call me?" I ask quickly.

"Michael, what the fuçk? Why did you leave him?" Ashton yells angrily into the phone.

"Wha- Ashton, I have no idea what you're talking about." I tell him.

"You left Luke! Don't try and bullshít me! He's at my place practically breaking apart! How could you do this to him?" Ashton screams at me.

"Hold on a moment! I didn't leave him! How could I anyway? I don't even have my phon-" I cut myself short when the biggest realization drops down on me like anchor. "Holy shít." I whisper.

"Michael!" Ashton yells. "What the hell are you-"

"Ashton shut up!" I scream at him. I must have taken him by surprise because he does exactly as I say.

"Michael, honey, things okay?" my mum asks concerned.

"Yeah, yeah. I just need to take this in another room." I reply, muttering. I jog off to my room and shut the door.

"Ashton." I say sternly into the phone. "Is Luke still at your place?"

"Yes of course. I wouldn't let him drive with the state he's in." he says like it's a fact I should know.

"Good. I'm coming over right now. Try and tell him that I didn't leave and that I'm coming." I tell him.

"Michael what the hell is going on? Luke got a text from you saying that you were leaving him." Ashton says with a hint of confusion. This whole thing is a giant mess.

"I didn't send that text. I don't have my phone on me. I think I know what happened though so just try and keep him calm until I get to your place!" I say hastily and hang up without another word. I hurry to throw my coat on and bolt out the door.

"Wait Michael!" my mom calls after me but it's too late because I'm already half way down the street. I continue sprinting towards Ashton's place and hope with everything I have that my memory doesn't fail me now. I haven't been to Ashton's in a while. My chest hurts with every breath and my legs are beginning to burn but I don't care because the man I love is hurting and it's because I walked away. I left him during that argument and as much as Luke likes to think I'm a child, I'm not. I know how much he hates it when I leave him. He's scared he'll lose me forever and I brought that fear to life. My eyes water from being over whelmed but I try to focus on my loud breathing and push forward. Finally Ashton's place appears from around a corner and I almost laugh from how exhausted I am. I rush to his door and knock loudly. Only seconds later does it swing open revealing a tired-looking Ashton.

"Hurry." is all he says and let's me into his home. "Kitchen." I jog to the kitchen willing my legs to not give out. I gasp when I see Luke slumped in the corner of the kitchen. He's repeatedly running his hands through his hair and gnawing on his bottom lip. His eyes look red and swollen from possible crying and I don't waste another second before kneeling down beside him.

"Luke." I croak out. "Look at me, Luke." He shakes his head at me though and begins whispering.

"He left me. He left me. He left me." he mutters over and over again.

"No, I didn't, Luke. Look at me please!" I beg him. I groan in frustration and position myself so I'm straddling his lap. "Luke!" He snaps his head towards my voice.

"He's gone." he whispers so quietly it was like a pin dropping.

"I'm right here." I tell him and kiss him. He kisses back immediately and wraps his arms around me. Luke pulls me as close as he can so there's absolutely no space between us. The kiss speeds up as all the emotions begin rushing out. Everything is rough and harsh until Luke pulls away and looks worriedly at me.
