Chapter Nineteen

Hayden POV

"Someone help me my girlfriend needs help! Someone fucking help me!"

"How long has she been out," a doctor asked taking Anna from my arms. "I don't know maybe 15 minutes. One moment she was fine and then she just dropped down to the floor and went out."

"Is there anything I need to know about before I take her to the back?"

"Yea she pregnant." She nodded her head and wheeled Anna to the back where doctors crowded around her. I was just left there standing by myself not knowing what to do or where to go. I couldn't lose Anna, not now. She was my everything and now she was trying to leave me just like my mom.

I called everyone and told them what was going on and I told Jade to go and take care of Ciara. I knew she was probably worried but I didn't want her to go through this, hell I didn't even want to be going through this. I sat down in a chair and put my head in my hands. I don't know what I would do if something happened to Anna, she was the only thing keeping me above water and she probably didn't even know it. Without her I wouldn't be able to survive.

"I thought I would find you here," I heard a voice say. It was Momma J, "Yea she been back there for an hour now."

"How you holding up," she asked sitting down beside me. "Honestly I feel like that helpless ten year old again, when mom was sick. "

"Hayden Annalisa is going to be just fine. Whatever is wrong they will find it." I shook my head but deep down I just couldn't believe any of it. Jade texted me telling me she was with Ciara and Angie said she was on her way. I really didn't feel like dealing with anybody at the moment because all I wanted was Anna. She just had to be okay.

"Hayden Marks?" a doctor said calling my name. "How is she," I asked running up to her. "Well, right now we have her stable. She really should've come in earlier; her blood pressure was extremely too high which could potentially develop into preeclampsia. If that happens she could be in serious trouble, I am putting her on bed rest and setting her up with a diet plan. If we don't get this under control she and this baby could die." Damn all this was happening while I was just caught up in my own world. From now on I will dedicate all the time I can to take care of her. "Can I see her now?"

"Yes she is in maternity room 312, she should be just waking up." I nodded and headed to the room number. When I got to the room and went inside she was laying in the bed with her eyes close. I walked up to her and took her hand in mind and began rubbing circles in her hand. She slowly opened her eyes looking at me. "Hey."

"Hi," she said just above a whisper. "How do you feel?"

"Like I've been pumped with drugs."

"Why didn't you tell me how bad it was. The doctor said you are on the verge of having preeclampsia."

"What's that?"

"It's when your blood pressure gets too high and yours was out of this world. She said that would explain the constant vomiting and the pain you have been feeling. She said you have to be on bed rest and we have to change your diet." She got quiet as she looked down at her hands. I knew she was worried but if I had anything to do with it I was going to make sure she was going to be fine. "Hayden what if I'm not meant to be a mother. What if all this is happening because I gave up my first child?"

"Annalisa you were not prepared to be mother then, you can't blame yourself."

"What if I'm not prepared now, I don't know the first thing about being a mother Hayden."

"Who has been taking care of Ciara? Who has made sure that both her brother and sister had a roof over their head and food in their stomach? It's all been you, you are already a mother Annalisa the only difference is this one will come out of you. Trust me Annalisa you are beyond prepared for this even more than me." she nodded her head. "Seriously though I'm sorry for not being there for you, hell I didn't even know you was going through all of this. I promise to be there every step of the way from now on."
