Do you believe in fate? Destiny? Soulmate? True Love?

The noise from the machines and people from the creative, production, and design department who were discussing filled the room on a busy Monday.
Everyone's has been working on for the upcoming Fashion Show and they only have less than a week left before the event proper.
"Finish the stage designs and backdrops. We will call in the models for the stage and dress rehearsals tomorrow. We will set up this Friday." Mrs. Eleanor Prada, CEO of the Prada group, ordered the staff.
"Ma'am I think we can't make it until tomorrow. The creative dept. aren't done yet with the paintings." The staff informed.
"That isn't my problem. Finish it as soon as possible. We have a timetable to follow." She ordered.
The staff nodded in response.
Mrs. Eleanor faced Ms. Sanchez who is giving orders to an intern while checking the dress rack per set. "Are the clothes ready for tomorrow's rehearsal?" she asked.
Ms. Sanchez gave her attention. "Yes ma'am. Some were still repaired due to designer's requests but we can finish it today. And we were waiting for the shoes and bags to be delivered later by 4." She informed.
"Good. Just be prepared for the time needed for major repairs when the girls fit them tomorrow. I also have contacted the manufacturer earlier saying the bags were ready for delivery."
"Oh and also, send in the dresses and accessories for the photoshoot of the new endorser in the advertising room. Thank you." She added.
"Okay ma'am. I'll send it right away." Ms. Sanchez responded.
On the other side of the room, I was standing in front of a mannequin with a silver and white accent cocktail dress on it. As I study it, I find it somewhat odd on its sides thought it actually looked good, but I don't settle for something good, so I called the tailor who was assigned for the dress.
"What is it ma'am?" She asked me.
"Can you do this part again over here? It looked a bit odd from its armhole down to the hem on the right side. And don't stretch the lining. It's obviously rushed alongside." I instructed, pointing out the area that needs to be repaired.
The tailor studied it again and touched the sides of the dress to see the difference.
She faced me and say, "Should I repair this part there is only half an inch allowance, if I adjust it the fabric will tear out." She explained more about the difficulty of doing it again that won't ruin the whole upper part of the dress. I clearly see where she's coming from.
I do know very well. But seeing the dress even before the bosses would see it is dissatisfying. "I know. But I didn't ask you to adjust it. I asked you to sew it again without stretching the fabric. Does this look presentable and worth a show?" I asked and paused looking at her. "Because this doesnt look tidy enough to be on sale what more on a show." She straightened up and sighed, shaking her head.
"Okay. Now do what you need to do." I changed my tone back to normal in response.
This has been a stressful week for me and for all of us. I know she's tired and stressed out too.
Yes I love my job and this is more than just a job for me. This my dream. I'm still working my way to get there and this is just a part of it. The fashion industry isn't too hard to handle yet competitive in the market. But more than just that, what makes a mediocre fashion designer and a real fashion designer different is the output of their craft. Innovation.
