5. Kat

2-months-later

My phone went off as me and Jane just got our food.

"Bonjour?"

"Everlasting, we found Embry."

"Fermez la bouche!"

"Don't tell me to shut up," Jacob growled over the phone.

"Oh Jacob, comment ça va?" I asked taking a sip of my drink.

"I don't really speak french...ça va bien."
"À demain," I smiled eating some of my lunch.

"I have no clue what you're saying now."

"Auevor Jacob." I almost forgot about my life back with the Cullen's.

I opened the door of the Cullen's house and stepped in, it smelled of pumpkin spice and wolves.

"Look who it is!" Jared smiled bringing me into a hug.

"Yeah, you look...taller?" Jacob half asked, "and what was the whole speaking French when I was on the phone with you?" He asked.

"I was in Paris for two months, it was just a habit. And I'm as tall as I was 90 years ago." I stated.

He rolled his eyes, "Yeah okay...so are we going now or what."

I rolled my eyes, "I ran here from Paris..."

"Alright first thing tomorrow morning." Jared said.

We whipped through the forests getting to the boarder. Than we got in a taxi drove to London Ontario and than we followed the sent of Embry. Once we reached a house we knocked and waited.

"I'll be right back," I didn't want to show up on his pouch, I would let them than show up later.

2-hours-later

They were all sitting out front when I walked up to the house again. And I knew it, there was a red head sitting next to Embry they were holding hands and laughing, it broke my heart. I ran out faster than they could see me.

"Hey," Jared said sitting beside me on a park bench.

"I knew it." I said as he pulled me into a hug.

"Knew what?" He asked.

"He imprinted, I knew he would."

"Yeah, yeah he did." He sighed hugging me tighter as I tryed not to cry.

Embry came home with his 'Kat' and we all entered the Cullen's, Edward appeared in front of us.

"I'll still never get used to that." Kat laughed.

"I want her out!" He said.

"Edward!" Jacob said.

"No," he said as I walked to my room and shut the door.

"What did I do?!" She asked as I could hear.

"That's my older sister, your lucky I haven't killed you." He snarled.

"It's not her fault." Jacob said.

"Really? Who can read mines here? It sure as hell isn't you Jacob." He yelled.

"What are you taking about Edward?" Embry asked.

"She didn't tell you? Her mother's a witch she asked her to put a spell on her, the next wolf who hadn't imprinted who looked at her would be forced to imprint on her." He said, "I want her out now." He growled.

"I didn't know he had a girlfriend." She said.

"They were engaged." Jared said, and Embry didn't argue.

"How was I supposed to know that?" Kat asked, I could hear the worry in her voice, "I'm sorry."

"Sure as hell you gonna be sorry." Paul snarled as he jumped at her and phased.

That's when I ran out and tryed pulling Paul off her but he wouldn't budge. "Paul! Stop! You'll kill her! " I yelled.

Embry was in shock he couldn't do anything.

We pulled Paul off and we looked at Kat, as Embry fell down to his feet to see if she was alive. I wish I let him kill her, I don't care if she's kind of Embry's mate it wasn't supposed to be that way, faith didn't do this a witch did.

"Why would you do this." Embry screamed.

"She was a fake." Paul yelled.

"I don't care."

"So you would choose her over Everlasting?" Paul yelled.

"Yeah because she wasn't planning on leaving me in a few months without telling me." He yelled.

"But that's what you did, you did what you didn't want her to do to you to her." Paul yelled.

Just then Kat gasped for air and Embry twitched.

"It's broken," Edward said, "the imprint is broken."

"So everything goes back to the way it was?" Jared asked.

"No, it'll never go back to the way it was. Thank Embry for choosing himself over all of you." I said.
