22. Hit a nerve

Everyone was yelling trying to be heard more than the person beside them, Ethan didn't like it he covered his ears with his little hands trying to block out the noise.
"CAN YOU ALL JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!" Anthony yelled, to tell the truth I've never heard him swear or yell like that before.
"Why is he yelling?" Ethan asked me hugging me tighter.
"It's okay Ethan." I said trying to claim him down a little.
"No it's not Everlasting, you never told anyone this." Edward lowly growled.
"He's been in hiding for the last 50 years, Aro would have made sure he was dead and would have wanted to know how." I said looking to Jane, "She's been hiding him and making sure Aro h couldn't find him."
"Everlasting was able to cover the trace of thought about him from my mind when Aro was reading it." Have explained to them.
"I don't get it your a vampire and he also looks like he's 4 months old and he can speak and his thoughts are insane." Edward explained.
"He can't grow, he stays the same size forever." Jane said.
"And he's Anthony's son? Raised by a member of the Volturi? And you think he won't try to take over the world?" Jacob said.
"He's adorable, and he looks like he can't even walk, something this sweet could never take over the world." Bella smiled.
"Your right he can't walk." I said, "but he is in love with classical music he can play 153 sings on the piano and he memorized every word from Hamlet." Ethan looked slightly embarrassed at what I said like a 12 years old would if his mother were talking to there teacher.
"Why wouldn't you tell at least me?" Anthony asked.
"Edward can read your thoughts, and I wasn't going to take the chance of anyone else finding out." I said.
"But we could have helped." Bella said.
"No more then Jane could have. She just was there so she could stop Aro." I said hoping they would just stop talking.
"Look how well she did that." Anthony said rolling his eyes.
"And if something happened where you needed to get back to help him how would we know what you were doing g was safe?" Edward asked.
"It wouldn't be safe Edward it's never been safe with Aro."
"Oh well isn't that rude!" We all flung around to see Aro smiling, I tightened my grip on Ethan and flew behind Edward and the rest of them.

"Edward you didn't tell them I was here!" Aro smirked, "angry aren't we you can't read my thoughts anymore."

At that moment Anthony sprang up I pulled on his arm and kept him close to me. I snuggled Ethan between us.

"Jane did you really think I wouldn't find out?" He asked his amusement rising with every second that horror toke over my face.

"Where you little gang?" Jane hissed surprising Aro.

"Oh Jane come on it's time to go home." He smiled. I didn't know what to do.

"I'm not going with you." Jane stated Aro's face grow impatient, that's when I handed Ethan to Anthony.

"Jane come with me! You would want anything to happen to Alec." He snarled and I was gone then five seconds later Alec was behind me.

"Oh don't worry that won't happen." I smiled, I can believe I saw him as a father figure once before.

That when I knew what I had to do. Aro leaped to Jane, I was quicker I push her out of the just in time to have Aro's claws dig into my neck. I could smell the blood oozing out of me and even though I couldn't see I knew I hit a nerve in Aro that would change him forever, maybe even break him. Then I was gone the goo rising as if it was eating me alive.
