I awoke on my wedding day in a sort of daze. It’s really weird to think that these days have literally flown by and I just watched them do so. I’ve known for a while that I was practically an insomniac because of this whole wedding thing, I was always nervous and my nerves would keep me up at night. Surprisingly I actually got to sleep last night before midnight, granted the girl’s and I did absolutely nothing for our bachelorette party.
We watched a few movies and talked about the wedding but did nothing special; I think the only thing that actually made us think was whenever we were pondering what the boys were doing. Hopefully they haven’t thought about making the usual theme at bachelorette parties; you know strippers. Lord help them or the boy who thought it would be a good idea because I would probably rip them a new one.
Later on that night we actually figured out that they were doing the exact same thing only they were kind of drinking. Yay, note the sarcasm there, hopefully Liam was smart and left the drinking level at like a ground level. Okay so maybe I was a little bit nervous about what they were up too but it was nothing compared to the butterflies that were in my stomach at the moment.
My nerves right now were through the roof. Maybe letting Louis and the others plan this wedding was a mistake because I basically have no clue what anything looks like. Louis wanted it to be a surprise for me whenever they opened the doors for me to walk down the aisle; that’s when I would see everything for the first time and be able to take it in. Yes I know I am one brave woman for putting the responsibility into a twentyone year old but can you blame me? Never mind don’t answer that.
I slowly got out of bed and went to take a quick shower seeing as how I probably should let Lou have a clean slate when she works on me this morning. When I was showered and shaved I hopped out of the shower and grabbed the first things I seen out of the closet. I knew one thing for a fact if I am sitting in a chair for over like four hours I am going to comfortable so I stayed away from skinny jeans; just a pair of sweats, a big sweater, and a pair of blue converse.
When I put my socks on I noticed that I was really starting to get the ‘cold feet’ as people say and it wasn’t because it was snowing outside either. I really thought about the commitment I will be making in about six or seven hours.
“COU- Oh, good you’re up. I thought I might have to bring out the bacon trick.” Ryleigh smiled smugly at me once she opened the door, I jumped out of my skin at the sudden noise. The door opened further so I could see all four of the girls standing there, fully dressed, waiting on me.
I shot them a tiny smile as I stood up off the bed and followed them out of the room. I barely had on enough time to put on some shoes as they were all pulling me out of the door. We all piled into Hailey’s car and began our drive to the venue.
“Okay Louis gave me the plan for today, once we get there we are to immediately go to Lou and get our hair and make-up done. After that we all get our dresses and stuff on then we’ll take pictures. After the pictures you’ll get a chance to breath for a few minutes before Sam and Jerry get you so you can finally marry your prince.” Eleanor gave a little squeal as I just looked out the window. It wasn’t that I wasn’t happy about being married, because I truly was, I was just nervous. I turned twenty, five days ago and now I am getting married. I am just thinking about is everyone right are we too young to be getting married?
The butterflies erupted in my stomach as I noticed we were pulling into the venue area. The more time that passes everything begins to become realer to me and I am not quite sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.
