Chapter 10~ Thanksgiving Part 2

Michael's Pov.

I'm so glad that I decided to make this get together happen. Alex is more then enjoying herself, shes been talking to everyone. I don't think shes stopped yet. She seems happy and I'm glad she is, she didn't think I noticed that shes been kinda depressed this weekend but I have. I did this for her not only to make her feel better but so she didn't have to miss Thanksgiving. She may be missing her family's Thanksgiving but shes having one with us. Even though we Australian we can throw a Thanksgiving celebration together, it just took a little googling and some help from Mum to get this thing rolling.

I looked over to Alex and smiled to myself, she really is having fun. Right now shes in the middle of a conversation with Mali, Ben and Jack. There all laughing their asses off. I smiled small, she looked genuinely happy something I haven't seen the beginning of last week. She looked so beautiful when she laughed, the crinkles the form by her eyes when she smiles, her face gets a little red from the laughing. And her laugh I could listen to it all day. She looked over to me and smiled waving slightly, she turned away and continued her conversation, and I smiled in content.

" How long have you loved her?"The sweet voice of my Mum asked scaring the hell out of me.

" What do you mean Mum?"I asked trying to play it off as if I didn't know anything.

" Cut the bullshit Michael, it obvious you love her. You haven't taken your eyes off of her since the moment you two stepped in."She smiled, my Mum was right I do love Alex but I don't want anyone to find out because if they do they might tell Alex, but if I keep it to myself there's no chance of her finding out.

" Mum what are you talking about I don't love her."I lied and my Mum only crossed her arms over her chest and pursed her lips at me.

" You can deny it all you want Michael but it doesn't make it any less true." Mum smiled and patted me on the shoulder before leaving the room.

Mum was right I can keep denying it but it will still be true. I'll still love Alex even if I deny that I do. I hate that my Mum was right about this, because I still don't have a clue as to what Alex feels for me.

Alexandra's Pov. 

I was currently in the middle of a conversation with Mali, Ben and Jack. And let me tell you they are awesome, I wish the boys would have introduced me to their siblings earlier. Their all great. I zoned out for a minute and caught Michael's eyes, I smiled and waved at him small, he smiled back. Michael's smile has got to be one of the things I love the most about him when his smile is real and genuine it could light up a whole room. And his pout is even better because he looks like a sad kitty and he thinks hes punk rock, he has still yet to prove it to me. I was brought back out of my thoughts with someone snapping their fingers in front of my face.

" Alex are you listening?"Mali called gently shaking me, I clued back in and saw that Ben and Jack were also starring at me with furrowed eyebrows.

" Sorry I got distracted."I blushed fiercely and they all laughed lightly.

" More like to busy starring at Michael, how long have you guys been dating?"Ben asked with a smile and I nearly laughed right in his face. Michael and I a couple like that would ever happen...much to my dismay.

" We aren't dating."I laughed lightly trying to hide that I'm slightly hurt by the question. Ben, Jack and Mali all looked at me wide eyes obviously not believing Michael and I aren't a couple. Do we look like a couple?Do we act like one?

"That's bullshit. You guys are so in love with each other it doesn't take a genius to see that. He hasn't stopped looking for you since you guys walked in, he hasn't kept his eyes off of you. He wants to make sure you're okay. You both look at each other with love in your eyes."Mali gushed and Ben and Jack nodded along with her but I didn't agree. Michael would never like a girl like me. I'm me and hes him.

" We aren't together...even if I want us to be."I mumbled the last part hoping that they wouldn't hear, but considering Mali, Ben and Jack all looked at me with wide eyes they obviously did hear me. Shit why did I have to say that.

" What?"They all asked looking quite shocked. I didn't have time to answer because Michael came over to us with a bright smile on his face and slung his arm over my shoulders.

"Hey guys what're we talking about?"Michael asked with a smile and I coughed and gave them all a look that meant shut the fuck up or i'll kill you. They all nodded slightly before Mali started talking.

" Oh just some funny stories about Calum and Luke nothing new. You've already heard them all Mikey so nothing to worry about."Mali smiled as if I hadn't just confessed my feeling for Michael not even a minute ago. I was thankful for her thinking of a quick excuse like that. Michael smiled and nodded to us before going into detail of one of his favorite embarrassing stories about Calum and Luke. Thank God Michael didn't hear us talking.

After a wonderful dinner thanks to Karen and all of the boys mom's we all decided to go home. We were there for hours upon hours just chatting and laughing. It was absolutely wonderful, it felt just like a thanksgiving at home. When Michael and I got back to our dorm with the boys we all collapsed onto the beds. Michael and I were on mine and the three other boys were on Michael's. I sighed in content before practically laying on top of Michael and rested my head on his chest, he gladly wrapped his arms around me and brought me closer to him if that was even possible. 

" I'm stuffed." Luke complained and I along with the boys started to laugh lightly.

" Now you know my pain, I have to go through that every October."I smiled and the boys shrugged.

" I actually wouldn't mind that."Calum smiled and everyone nodded in agreement.

" Well Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Its probably just because I love turkey."I shrugged and the boys all let out small laughs.

" Well just think you're next holiday with a turkey will be with your family. A little less then two months before you leave us to go back to Canada for Christmas."Michael pouted and I looked over to the other three and they all held the same looks on their faces. I sent them sympathetic smiles before an idea dawned upon me.

" Why don't you guys come with me."I suggested and everyone immediately sat up in shock including Michael causing me to fall of the bed with a thud. 

"Shit sorry Alex."Michael rushed out as he helped me back up on to the bed. Once I was settled on the bed everyone's gaze turned back on me.

" Are you serious Alex?"Michael asked in astonishment and I nodded.

" Yeah I am. I'm going back there to see my family and you guys should come as well. You guys could meet my family since I met yours today. And you guys  should come because you've never been to Canada and never experienced snow. It would be a win win situation. I get to spend Christmas with you guys and my family."I smiled trying to sell the idea to them. Why couldn't they come? I don't see a reason they couldn't.

" I'm in."Michael smiled and I high fived him before turning my attention to the other three who were nodding their heads. I smiled at all of them and grins formed on their faces.

" This is great!"I squealed causing all the boys to laugh at me.

"Whats Canada like?"Luke asked and I smiled at his question.

" Its awesome. The snow is great you guys are going to be over the moon when you see it. I can teach you guys how to build a snowman, snow angels and we could have a snowball fight."I gushed getting all excited for Christmas already.

" That sounds amazing."All the boys cheered and my smile only grew. I'm glad the boys decided to come with me for Christmas its going to be amazing. Only a little over two months to go.
