Alexandra's Pov
"So he just snuck into your room at midnight?" Kyle asked with raised brows as everyone was enjoying breakfast made by my lovely mother and older sister.
I nodded as Michael explained the events that went down last night when Carter decided to let himself into my bedroom. Everyone looked shocked obviously not expecting me to tell them that when they asked how we slept last night.
"Yea I thought he was an intruder, so I tackled him to the ground and punched him." Michael replied sheepishly and everyone started laughing.
"Good that boy needed some sense knocked into him." Dad laughed with the rest of us.
"He's go to be an idiot for walking across the roof with it being covered in ice." Daisy rolled her eyes.
"He's not the sharpest tool in the shed." Luke commented making everyone laugh harder then they already were. It was true Carter often did things without thinking and obviously he wasn't thinking last night, and if he was I was starting to question his sanity.
"Don't worry honey I'll make sure to put a lock on your window today." Dad assured and I smiled and nodded my head at him.
"Thanks Dad." I grinned as we all finished eating breakfast.
Tara and I were about to clear all the dishes when Ashton, Luke, Calum and Michael all stood up and took the dishes into the sink leaving myself and my sister wide eyed. Michael poked his head out into the dinning room and smiled at us.
"We're going to do the dishes this morning, sit down and relax everyone." Michael grinned before leaving and going back into the kitchen.
"What polite men." Mom smiled as we all headed into the living room. I smiled and shook my head, these boys really are something else. They certainly surprise the shit out of me at least once a day.

A few hours later along with a few dozen hot chocolates we were all sitting in the freshly decorated living room admiring the tree that we had just finished. It was the same fake tree we always had, with the twinkly lights built in with the fake pinecones here and there along with gently sprayed on fake snow. It looked different this year but it still looked good. I just think it was because the guys were helping out with the tree, it honestly didn't turn out bad like I thought it would with their help. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they knew how to decorate a Christmas tree without it looking like complete trash, there Mum's taught them right.
We were all laughing and joking around, Luke, Ashton and Calum were playing Monopoly with Daisy and Grace. Grace was on Ashton's team so he could help her out. It was amazing how well they all get along. Tara was sat next to Michael and I and we've been talking about the baby. Mom, Kyle and Dad had head out to the store to grab a few last minute items we may need in the next few days.
"So when is the baby due?" Michael asked Tara and she smiled as she rubbed her baby bump.
"Late March early April." She smiled and I made sure to make a mental note of that, the baby should be born maybe a month before we got out of school this year. Its perfect because I was planning on coming to visit at some point during the break between school.
"How'd Chad take the news?" I asked talking about her long term boyfriend of five years who happens to be in the military and is out of the country at the moment.
"Well I had to tell him over video chat but he seemed really excited, he's been trying to convince them to let him come home early so he can be here when the baby is born." Tara smiled and I hoped to god they would let him come home so he could witness the birth of his child and help my sister throughout the labor.
"I'm sure they will." I smiled as I rested my back more on Michael's chest so I can see my sister better.
"Yea we're pretty excited, we're waiting for the birth to know the gender." She smiled and I nodded agreeing with her.
"That's how I'd want to do it." I smiled as Michael kissed my head.
"Surprises are nice." Michael added and my sister smiled joyfully at us.
"You two be careful, you're still pretty young for this to happen to you." She said pointing down at her baby bump and I could feel my cheeks heat up no doubt making me redder then a tomato.
"We're no where close to that part of our relationship." Michael insured her and myself and I nodded smiling, its easier to breathe now. I love Michael but I agree we're nowhere close to being ready for a baby. Maybe five years down the road if we're together sure, but not right now.
"I'll just spoil yours until I get my own." I winked at my sister and she smiled and lightly laughed.
"And that is why you'll be there favourite aunt." She grinned and Daisy and Grace made sounds of protest before getting sucked back into what looks like to be a rather intense game of Monopoly.
" I know." I sassily flipped my hair causing Michael and my sister to lightly chuckle.
"The only grandbaby I want anytime soon is Tara's, am I clear Clifford?" Dad suddenly boomed and Michael looked at him wide eyed.
"Yes sir." He shakily got out and I rolled my eyes at my Dad's outburst. Always the protector, eh?
