Michael's Pov

I widened my eyes at Alex's words and got off of the intruder now known as Carter. I glared at the boy as he got up from the ground as Alex turned on the lights in her room. I'm surprised no one has woken up we weren't being very quiet, there probably all heavy sleepers like Alex is.

I looked over to Alex and saw that she was furious with her old friend. She had he arms crossed, hip jutted out and her eyebrows furrowed along with a large frown on her face. Carter looked at me and glared, I raised an eyebrow as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Who the fuck are you?" Carter hissed and I had to refrain myself from rolling my eyes at the teenaged boy in front of me.

He was about the same height as me. Dark brown hair in a messy state, dark brown eyes and pale skin. He looked like an average teenaged boy to me. He was wearing nothing but a hoodie, track pants and slipper socks, not the wisest choice of clothing in the middle of a Canadian winter.

"I'm her boyfriend asshole, who are you?" I asked angered with the boy who crawled through Alex's window so late at night. I knew who he was but since he was being a dick towards me I might as well be one right back to him.

His mouth went agape as he heard the words come out of my mouth, obviously not expecting that. He looked me up and down before shaking his head and turning towards Alex, completely ignoring my question. He seems rude, you'd think he'd have the decency to acknowledge my question but of course he doesn't, its not like he intruded into the house I'm staying in or anything.

"What in the hell are you doing here Carter?!" Alex fumed and I smirked knowing this asshole was going to get told off.

"I came to apologize for the way I was acting before you left for Australia." He shrugged and I rolled my eyes, he could have came over tomorrow and knocked on the door like a regular person to apologize. But I can see where he got confused, because crawling through a window on an ice slick roof in the middle of the night sounded like so much of a better plan.

"You could have came in the morning? Not in the freaking middle of the night!" She scolded him and I could see him visibly flinch at the harshness of her voice, I smirked slightly and loved how he was being put in his place.

"Alex listen I'm sorry for everything that happened before Australia I was made that you were leaving, I didn't want you to go." Carter tried to explain but Alex cut him off from finishing.

"You listen here you little shit, you are not going to smile and try to charm me into forgiving you. You were a complete asshole to me when I left and I will not just forgive you like that. And don't you ever speak to my boyfriend like that again, or I'll make sure he gets another good punch or two in next time." Alex scoffed and walked over to me and I instantly wrapped my arms around her and kissed her head.

Carter turned around and looked pissed at our physical affection with each other. Too bad for him I guess, she is my girlfriend after all and like fuck I'll let go of her because we're in the unwanted presence of him.

"You're really dating this Aussie?" Carter asked looking amused with himself, I rolled my eyes again feeling like it was the tenth time I have since he so rudely entered Alex's room.

"This Aussie his name is Michael and yes I'm dating him." Alex glared and Carter smiled before heading towards the door he opened it and turned to us before leaving.

"Call me when this kangaroo loving dingo dumps you." Carter winked before leaving the room and closing the door after him.

I was more amused then angry with him, it was honestly hilarious that he thought he could just walk in and everything be alright. News flash bud it takes more then a half assed apology.

I looked down at Alex and saw that she too was slightly amused with what just went down. She looked up at me and pecked my lips a few times before pulling away.

"Some friend you got there." I laughed and Alex giggled as we got back into bed.

"He's something alright." She rolled her eyes before cuddling into me and getting comfortable once again.

"Goodnight Michael, I love you." She smiled sweetly.

"Goodnight Babe, I love you too." I grinned knowing that at the end of the day she will always be in my arms.
