Chapter 12~ I couldn't be happier.

Michael's Pov.

To say I was happy was an understatement, I was over the moon. The girl who has had me wrapped around her finger since the day we first met 2 months ago, finally admitted she had feeling for me. No scratch that she told me that shes in love with me. I have loved this girl since probably a week after meeting her.

Just everything about her makes me happy, its indescribable the way I feel towards Alex. If I tried to explain it I would probably just confuse myself and everyone else around me. All that I know now is that the girl I'm in love with is in love with me. Its truly amazing.

Here I was worrying about what our friendship would be like if I told her my feelings and hers didn't reciprocate. But all this time she has had the same feelings for me. This is way better then anything else, its like winning the lottery, but better.

 My jackpot isn't some sum of money its the girl of my dreams. Alex is my jackpot and she will always be. Shes the light at the end of the tunnel, my rainbow on a rainy day, my sunshine, my everything. She is and will always be my first love. The first girl who has fucked me up in the best way possible and hopefully she will be the last. 

I have a god feeling about this, about us. Maybe things will work out, maybe in ten years we'll be sitting in the lounge room of our home sipping coffee while watching our kids play in front of us. Or maybe in a few years we'll be broken up and never speak to each other again. But all I know is that what I have right now is what I've been searching for my whole life.

Someone I love and care for the same way they love and care for me. I've had a girlfriend or two before but none of them gave me the feelings I get when I see Alex. None of them gave me a warm fuzzy feeling when I saw them smile or laugh.

Alex is special, and I'm so lucky that I fell in love with her. I can't even imagine loving another girl when Alex is currently sitting on my lap and playing with the hair at the base of my neck. Right now I was completely content with where I am. Times like these don't come by often but when they do I cherish them as much as possible because I know it might be a while before another one comes my way.

Even though we're sitting on the dirty floor of Luke's childhood bedroom I couldn't be happier. I had the girl that I loved in my arms and anywhere she is, is paradise to me. She could be standing knee high in a pile of garbage and I'd happily join her. 

"Michael?"The soft voice of Alex asked. I turned my head slightly to look down at her and smiled as I saw her dropping eyes.

"Yeah Babe?"I asked as I rubbed her back slightly.

"I'm tired."She yawned cutely, I couldn't help but kiss her nose. Causing her to scrunch it up in the most adorable way possible.

"Me to do you want to head back to the dorms?"I suggested and she nodded sleepily as she rested her head in the crook of my neck.

I smiled and gently picked her up so her legs were wrapped around my waist and her arms around my neck. I had a firm hold on her so I wouldn't drop her as we headed downstairs. When I walked into the room carrying Alex all attention was on me. I smiled small at them.

"Alex and I are heading back to our dorm."I smiled and everyone nodded in understanding.

"Is she okay though?"Mali asked and I nodded.

"Yeah shes fine now."I smiled.

"Mike take my car, just come by tomorrow to pick us up."Ashton offered and I nodded while thanking him. He slipped the keys in my pocket before sitting back down in his seat.

"Thanks for tonight guys we had a good time."I smiled politely and everyone smiled at me.

"We did to, hopefully Alex is feeling better soon."Liz nodded and I smiled back to her.
