Lola's POV

Oh crap, I needed to hurry, I thought, pulling into the drive and jumping out of the car. I ran up the path, letting myself in and quickly keying the code into the alarm.
"Hellooooo." I called, going into the kitchen and dumping my bags on the counter. I'd bought several outfits and I wanted Alex's opinion on what one I should wear.
Where the fuck was she?
"Alex." I yelled.
"She's not here." Matt said, coming out of the entertainment room.
"Well where the fuck is she?"
"She got called into work."
I groaned, sitting down. "She did?"
He nodded. "Yeah."
I shook my head. "These were supposed to be her days off."
"I know." He said.
"She's not sleeping."
"I know Lola." He said, walking to the fridge and grabbing two sodas. "I told her that."
"It's like she doesn't want to sit still, like she needs to keep busy."
"She probably does." He mumbled, taking a drink.
"Argh." I groaned. "She needs to see somebody, a therapist."
He looked at me shrugging.
"What? Don't you care?"
"Of course I do." He snapped and I looked at him shocked. He didn't need to get so snappy.
"Well she needs to Matt." I went on. "Because I don't know the half of what he did to her, but I can only imagine and at the moment she's jumpy as all fuck, she's not sleeping and she's barely talking."
"I know Lola, I really do."
"And if she were to have a relationship in the future, what would the repercussions be?"
Matt shook his head. "Bad."
"Bad, could you imagine, the poor guy, he wouldn't be able to touch her without her freaking out." I said. "Nope, she needs to deal with this now, and working herself to death is not the answer."
"Is she still coming down tomorrow?" He asked.
"Oh I'll fucking drag her down to the studio if I have to."
"Good." He said smiling.
"And." I said standing up. "I can assure you she will not be going into work. Now, I need to get ready."
"Where you going?"
"Well." I said smiling. "I have a date." I didn't add that I was excited.
"With who?"
"Brian."
He groaned. "Oh god, we're not doing this again are we?"
"What do you mean?"
"Come on Lola, last time everyone was miserable, it was a fucking mess." He moaned.
"We're older now Matt, and besides." I said walking to the door. "Sometimes you just meet somebody and it's like your soul purpose is to be with them."
"I know." He said quietly.
"Like everythings not quite right when you're apart."
He nodded, staring out the window. "I know." He said again.
"Oh." I said smiling. "You must tell me about her."
He frowned, shaking his head.
"Tomorrow." I said winking. "But for now, I'm gonna be late."
I ran upstairs, showering the quickest I ever had. I spent time on my hair and make up and finally I picked a beautiful red dress and some nice heels. I wanted to look good. Brian always saw me in jeans and tonight I wanted him to see that I wasn't always a slob.
Finally I was finished and as I headed downstairs I could hear Brian and Matt talking.
"I'm ready."
"Woah." Brian said and I was pleased with the look on his face. "You look beautiful Lola."
"Thankyou." I said, blushing.
"Ready?" He asked.
I nodded, turning to Matt. "You'll be here?" I still didn't want Alex left alone.
"Of course."
"Okay, I'll see you when I get home."
I followed Brian out and when we almost reached his car, he stopped, turning around.
"I mean it Lola." He said pulling me into his arms. "You really look beautiful." He brushed his lips across mine. "But you always do."
"Oh for fuck sake, how sappy."
He grinned. "But I mean it."
He kissed me again and I closed my eye's. It felt so nice.
"Come on." He murmured.
We got in the car and he held my hand while he drove. We chatted, mainly about heading back to the studio, but also about the other guys.
"So Matt has a girl?" I asked.
"No he doesn't."
"Well yeah, I'm pretty sure he does."
He shook his head. "He doesn't."
"Well I think he does, we were talking about.....stuff." I didn't want to mention what we were talking about, lord knows it would make Brian's head grow. "And he got all sappy looking, so I'm telling you there's a girl."
"Well he's hiding her then."
Maybe he was, maybe we'd get to meet her soon and then maybe that prick might actually leave my house and stay at his own.
