Lola's POV

I couldn't have asked for a nicer day. Our closest friends were here, celebrating with us and it was beautiful, absolutely perfect.

"So." Brian said as we arrived at the place we'd chosen to get our photographs taken. "You know Matt brought a complete stranger to our wedding?"

"He did what?" I asked, envisioning our private photo's being all over Tumblr by morning.

"Yeah, it's not one of the other girls he dated, it's a new one."

"What the absolute fuck is wrong with him." I snapped and Brian just shrugged as we arrived at our destination.

Brian helped me out of the car and I watched as the other's got out, well except Matt, he flew out, looking extremely pissed. I wanted to go over and slap the asshole, but I just watched him and smiled as Alex climbed out laughing. I was glad she was having a good time and glad that Matt apparently wasn't.

The photographer got busy organising us all and taking photo's of everything, which I was glad of, I wanted memories of this, of today, to keep forever, because it really was the happiest day of my life.

"Right, get in your pairs." The photographer demanded after he'd taken 200 group shots and once again I found myself smiling and laughing at Johnny as he picked up Alex, posing for various shots.

I took a quick glance at Matt and honestly, if he hadn't been acting like such a douche I would have felt sorry for him.

"What's wrong?" I asked him, sliding up so I was standing next to him.

"Not much." He said shrugging, glaring as Alex and Johnny continued to ham it up for the photo's.

I looked at Alex and thought about everything that had happened and she didn't deserve this, to have women rubbed in her face by him, she really didn't.

"She only did it for you." I blurted. Yes I was spilling secrets, but they were things he needed to know.

"What?" He asked, turning to me. "What are you talking about?"

"Alex, she broke up with you because she thought she was protecting you."

He frowned, glancing at Alex. "What are you saying Lola?"

"Are you fucking stupid." I hissed at him. "Brandon threatened you, Alex did what she thought was best, she was trying to protect you and look at this."

He shuffled his feet uncomfortably, looking down. "Look at what?"

"She did this out of love, and how do you repay her, by getting over her in a day." I whispered. "Throwing women in her face. Hasn't she been through enough? Now she has to deal with your bullshit."

"Hang on a minute Lola." He mumbled. "She broke up with me."

I groaned, turning to face him. "You fucking idiot, do you not hear what I'm saying." I wanted to grab him around the throat and strangle him. "She did it to protect you, she did it out of love." And then I walked away because I could see it turning into a shit fight and I didn't want that, not today.

"You okay?" Brian asked me, slipping his arm around my waist.

I nodded. "Just angry that your friends are so fucking stupid."

I didn't need to explain it to Brian, he knew exactly what I was talking about. "He'll sort it out babe." He murmured. "It'll be okay."

"That's the problem Brian." I whispered. "I don't think it will be, not now, not after he's dated a hundred women and thrown it in her face."

"Honestly Lola." He whispered, putting his lips to me ear. "I don't think he's actually touched them, that's why he's taken a new one out every night. Try and understand babe, he's hurting."

"What a shame he doesn't act like it." I snapped.

We left the conversation there because neither of us wanted to argue on our wedding day and on the way to the reception we never spoke of it in the car. It was our day and I refused to get caught up in the mess Alex and Matt had made for themselves.

The reception was lovely and as we ate our meal I watched this girl, this stranger that Matt had brought to my wedding. She was the complete opposite of Alex, everything Alex wasn't. She was tall, blonde and extremely outgoing, she greeted me like I was a long lost friend. I didn't trust her for a second and I kept an eye on her, making sure she wasn't taking photo's.

We were getting ready for our dance, just waiting for the guy's to come back from a toilet break, guy's and beer, it was inevitable, when Sarah sat beside me, smiling.

"Do you think Alex should stay with us while you're away?" She asked me.

I looked at her and shook my head. "I mean you can ask her, but she seems okay with being by herself at our house."

She smiled. "She probably wants some time to herself, but I'll call over and see her everyday."

"Good Sarah, please do." I told her. "Otherwise I'd worry."

"Me too." She added and I hated to admit it, but I'd actually grown very fond of Sarah and I was glad that Zack had chosen her to marry. "Anyway." She smiled. "Let's dance." And once again I was glad that she hadn't brought up the subject of Matt, I was done thinking about the jerk.

The dance was beautiful and I was extremely surprised that Brian was so light on his feet and as the other's joined us on the dance floor I rested my head on his chest, watching them.

Zack and Sarah were in a tight embrace, whispering too each other. Johnny and Alex were laughing crazily as he whipped her around the dance floor and I smiled, Alex had such a beautiful smile it was always a joy to see it. Matt and Jenna were just rocking in one spot, both of them looking bored, well not really, Matt wasn't looking bored, he was looking pissed off and as I followed his gaze I smiled. He was so pissed off at Johnny I laughed. It served him right, the asshole
