Chapter 75

Alexandria's POV

"Is that the fucking car?" Sarah snapped, looking at me.

I nodded, it was the car. The guy's had been gone for hours, it was early evening now and Sarah was pissed, well pissed was putting it mildly, she was fuming and come to think of it I was a little upset too, upset that instead of trying to work us out Matt would piss off for most of the day.

"I'm going to fucking kill him." She muttered, standing up as the front door opened.

"Hey, we're home." Zack called out. "We should order something in for dinner."

Sarah looked at me, raising her eyebrow's and snorting. "Where the fuck have you been?" She screamed walking out to meet them.

I jumped up following her out and I got there just in time to see the look of surprise on Zack's face.

"I told you what I was doing." He told her.

I glanced at Matt, he was looking awkward and to be honest a little relieved to finally be back here.

"And what?" She yelled. "It took five hours?"

"Babe." Zack said soothingly, putting his arm around her shoulder. "Trust me okay?" And he pecked her lightly on the lips. "Now food, I'm starving, we should order Chinese." And he looked at me.

I shrugged, I mean what could I do? Yell at Matt? Although I kind of wanted to, let me tell you.

 "I think Brian and Lola have some menu's in a drawer somewhere." I mumbled.

"Yes menu's." Zack said smiling. "Go get them."

I shrugged and turned towards the kitchen. I thought I remembered seeing them in a drawer somewhere.

"Alex." Matt suddenly said and I jumped a little. I hadn't even realised he'd followed me into the kitchen.

"Yes?" I opened a drawer, looking in it.

"Sorry I was gone so long."

"It's fine." I said, cutting him off. He didn't owe me an explanation.

"Well Zack was taking forever." He went on and I opened another drawer, digging around. "He went everywhere."

"It's fine." I said again, moving to the next drawer and opening it.

"I wanted to come back hour's ago, but he wanted to go a hundred places."

"It's fine." I mumbled again, and finally. "Here they are." I said holding up a handful of menu's and looking at him.

He frowned at me. "Seriously?" He asked, looking pissed.

"I knew they had them." I said, looking away, avoiding his gaze.

He reached out and grabbed the menu's. "Seriously Alex." He snapped. "Menu's." And he threw them in the air and they scattered all over the kitchen.

"Matt." I said, watching the menu's fall to the ground. What was his problem? "What are you doing?"

"God Alex." He snapped. "Can you just shut up about the fucking menu's."

I looked up at him as he reached out and pulled me into his arm's, kissing me deeply. I was shocked for a moment, I wasn't expecting it, but then I closed my eye's, enjoying it, I'd missed his kisses, a lot.

"Alex." He murmured against my lips, pulling me closer.

"Yes?" I whispered, enjoying his closeness.

"Fuck I missed you." He murmured, kissing me again.

I kissed him back, letting his embrace engulf me because this was where I wanted to be, in Matt's arm's, all the time, I didn't want to be away from him again.

"Did you find the menu's?" Zack asked suddenly and I stepped away from Matt.

"Um, yes." I said, glancing at the menu's all over the floor.

Zack raised his eyebrow's, bending down to pick one up. "This looks good." He said, reading it and we all stood there a little awkwardly. "So I guess I'll order." He announced. "What do you want?"

"Just get whatever." I told him. Chinese food was the last thing on my mind.

"Yeah, just a bit of everything." Matt told him, slipping his arm around my waist.

Zack nodded and grabbed the phone, looking up as Sarah entered the kitchen.

"What the hell happened?" She asked, looking at the menu's everywhere, then glancing at Matt's arm around me.

"I dropped them." I told her quickly, smiling and Matt squeezed my waist gently.

"Oh okay." She said, turning her attention back to Zack who was ordering one of everything.

"Thanks." Zack said smiling and hanging up. "It shouldn't be too long." He told us.

"Well I better clean this mess up." I said and Sarah started helping me, making weird faces at me every time we bent down.

"I feel like a beer." Zack announced, opening the fridge. "Matt?" He asked and I stood up, glancing at the both of them.

"No thanks." Matt said, glancing back at me and I really wished Sarah and Zack would leave, I just wanted to talk to Matt, kiss him, hold him, just be with him.

"I might see what movies Brian has laying around." Zack said, grabbing a beer and walking out.

I did everything but groan out loud.

"Oh my god." Sarah said quickly, turning to follow him. "I'm sorry he's so fucking slow."

"It's fine." Matt told her as she walked out, then he reached out pulling me close.

I laid my head on his chest, closing my eye's.

"Alexandria." He said, softly and I pulled back to look up at him and he kissed me softly again. "We have all the time in the world." He murmured and I smiled against his lips, it was true, we did. "We can talk later."

"I guess." I whispered, really wishing we could talk now.

"Alexandria." He murmured again.

"Yes?" I loved hearing him say my name.

"I love you." He whispered and I buried my face in his chest, trying not to cry. I'd been wanting to hear him say those words to me again and now he had, it was beautiful. "Don't ever forget that." He murmured, kissing the top of my head. "Now I guess we should go and see what movie we're watching." And he kissed me again before taking my hand and leading me into the living room.

Zack and Sarah were sitting there, staring at the television and judging by the screaming, Zack had picked some horror movie. I normally wasn't a fan of horror, but as I sat down and Matt sat next to me, pulling me close, I realised I didn't really care what was on the television

I looked at him and smiled and he leant over, brushing his lips across mine.

I had the most important thing in my life. I had Matt.
