Chapter 18

NIALL' S POINT OF VIEW

The way that her blonde hair sweeps across her forehead and lays on her back causes a game of Elefun in my stomach. Her icy eyes that light up when she shows her true smile send a cool tingling sensation down my spine. And when her tender voice dances off of her perfectly pink lips, my cheeks flush with pink heat. I love her. but I can't. It's not my fault that he has that affect on me. I can't tell Harry, he would kill me. but I definitely need to tell someone. Definatly Liam. He is Daddy Directioner after all. As I began walking towards Liam's room, I passed by the big window in the hallway. What I saw did not exactly put a smile on my face. There was Hannah, sitting in Harry's lap, she wasn't even really sitting, more like straddling so that she was facing him. And their faces were inching closer. And I felt my eyes sting. But it didn't make sense. She never has been mine, an she never will, she has Harry. I was pretty sure that Harry saw me watching them, so I continued walking to Liam's room. This is so unfair! Harry always gets the girl. Surely he'll get Anna too. But what if she ends up heartbroken again? He's had more girlfriends than I can count in just the last year, let alone the three years that they have been apart. I was so busy weighing my chances with Anna that I completely passed Liam's room. I turned on my heels and made a beeline for his door. I barged in without even knocking, and I saw Liam sitting on his bed, with his guitar in his lap. He was softly humming Moments. I just stood there, letting the tender music calm my racing thoughts. Once finished, I sat next to Liam on the bed. Liam looked up at me and studied the features of my face.

His sparkling eyes stared into mine as he whispered, "Who is She? The girl that you're in love with?"

Liam was smiling at me but I was at a loss of words, "Umm..... well.... she kinda..... okay. Sh-she has blonde hair, down to her back, her eyes are a light, icy blue. Her lips are shaped like hearts. She's an old friend, of mine, ours," I was looking down, fiddling with the hem of my shirt.

Then Liam spoke up again, "It's Anna."

I nodded.

"Niall there's nothing wrong with having a crush on Anna, she really is beautiful. But I think you should talk to Harry and Anna." I nodded before standing up from the bed

Just before I left, Liam called out to me,

"Just be careful. Anna's heart is delicate and already broken. And you know Harry is over protective. "

I nodded again and left the room.

HARRY'S POINT OF VIEW

Hannah twisted her body around in my arms. The guitar was now pressed to my chest as her face was getting closer to mine. I could feel her cool, minty breath quivering. It's been so long since I've felt her velvety lips on mine. I so desperately miss the way our lips fit together like a puzzle. And the way that she bites her bottom lip when she pulls away after we kiss. My eyelids covered my eyes as Hannah's face loomed over mine. I wanted to kiss her so bad. But what if she doesn't want this? She's still dating Dustin. Right? She's probably very confused right now. I don't want to just be a rebound.... but we are so close..... oh screw this. I was expecting a passionate kiss so I was surprised to hear her sweet voice whisper in my ear,

"I've missed you. But I don't deserve you,"

My eyes remained closed as I waited for her lips to meet mine, but moments went by without me feeling anything, so I opened my eyes to see an empty yard in front of me. I cursed before standing up and walking back towards the house.

ANNA'S POINT OF VIEW

It had been a few minutes, and there was still no sign of Harry. Was he still outside? I figured he might've followed me inside. As if he read my thoughts, I saw his curliness walk through the door. He gave me a sad smile before walking up the stairs. I heard him apologize to someone before continuing to go up stairs. Before I knew it, Niall was sitting beside me on the couch. But something was off. Because there was an awkward silence. There is never awkward silences with Niall... especially around me. I was about to say something, but decided against it and promptly shut my mouth. I just decided in resting my head in his lap as I felt drowsiness wash over me.

NIALL'S POINT OF VIEW

She set her head in my lap and her long hair tickled my legs. I played with a small piece of her hair before I spoke up.

"When I first saw you, I knew you were special. I could tell right away that you were hurt and broken. And I can honestly say that I so badly wanted to be the one to make you all better. But Harry had you first. So I never said anything, to anyone, up until now. I don't want you to choose between me Harry and Dustin. I know you're already confused and I've probably only made things worse. But, I can't keep pretending that I don't notice the little things about you. I can't keep pretending that i'm not in love with you,"

I finished my little speech and waited for her to respond, but she never did, instead I heard her mumble Harry's name. Yep she's sleeping.

HARRY'S POINT OF VIEW

I don't know how I feel yet so I'm just gunna go back to my room and pretend I didn't hear Niall's confession.
