Chapter 30

NIALL'S POINT OF VIEW

I ran my fingers through my blonde locks, perfecting my quiff. I was thankful that Anna spent a few extra days with us while she made living arrangements for Madelina. I opened the white door and the smell of bacon wafted into my nose. I walked down the steps to see Anna and Madelina leaning over the stove. Breathy laughs escaped their lips as I listened in on their conversation.

Madelina's voice swirled through the air, "Oh my god. He is so hot!" Something about Madelina's voice was so calming.

"I KNOW! UGGH AND WHEN HE IS SHIRTLESS IN THAT ONE SCENE!" Anna's voice boomed, which was followed by a loud laugh which Madelina joined in on.

Once the two calmed down, I spoke up, "Who? Me?"

They both turned around with confused looks in their faces.

"You guys were talking about how hot I am right?"

They laughed and I opened my arms. Anna came to me first and then Madelina quickly followed. I chuckled as Anna pressed her face to my chest. My heart rate picked up and I'm almost positive she could tell. We stood there for a while until other footsteps were heard. We pulled away, all of us beaming. Liam walked in first, a frown still stuck on his features. He didn't tell us the whole story. Only that Dani broke up with him. Louis walked in next. He was smiling but again, we hadn't heard the full story only that he blamed himself. Next walked in Zayn who I swear was shaking, his usually tan face was pale and his hair wasn't done up in its usual quiff, it was just flat, but it still suited him. By the time Harry walked in, Anna was back at the stove, which I was slightly grateful for. the last thing we need right now is to start a fight between the only two people who are themselves right now. We all sat down as Madelina placed bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches on each of our plates. Then Anna came around, placing hash browns on our plates. We all thanked the girls for the breakfast. We ate in silence before Madelina spoke up.

"Okay, so I know that I'm kinda new to this whole 'Knowing and living with famous people thing' but what is going on? Mr. Prep over there seems happy but all of a sudden, he looks all guilty," Louis perked up at his nickname but shrugged it off and continued eating.

"And pretty boy here looks like he saw a ghost," Madelina continued, acknowledging Zayn.

But she wasn't done, "And He's locked himself in his room for a day. And why have we not told everyone what happened? Isn't that something friends do?" I nodded as did Anna, but the rest of the boys were confused.

Anna cleared her throat, "We'll explain, but the rest of you first,"

Louis nodded and explained how El agreed that it was time for them to break up and that relieved him. But when she finally was told that Louis liked another boy, all he could read from her face was disappointment. Everyone expressed their advice and Liam spoke next.

It was surprising to us all to hear that Dani broke up with him over the stress of her job. But what got us all was when he told us that he feared she would get with Justin Bieber. It wasn't like he feared she was gunna get with our enemy, rather she might get with a close friend, which was almost worse. Again everyone apologized and it was Zayn's turn to explain.

He told us that Simon, himself had called him. Don't get me wrong, we all love Uncle Si but most times when he calls us in person, it's a bad thing. "He told me that if I'm gunna stay with Perrie, I need to propose," All of us were shocked. "And it's not that I don't want to marry her. I mean I'm in love with her and I don't doubt that she is the one but, we're so young, both have huge careers ahead of us. And what if, by chance, things don't work out? I don't believe in divorce," We all were shocked but tried to cheer him up anyway. But then he added. "Simon said that I need to do it today." again, we were all shocked. But Zayn turned towards Anna and she took a deep breath.

Anna explained that she hadn't met Madelina at the grocery store like she originally had said, but when she had walked in on Dus cheating her with Madelina. Anna quickly explained that neither of the girls had know about each other. Although Anna said she was over him, I could see the disappointment in her eyes. The breakfast table was silent, and one by one, each person stood up and walked back to their rooms, or out to their cars, off to do different things until it was only Anna, Madelina, Harry, and I. Talk about awkward.
