Chapter 32

HARRY'S POINT OF VIEW

Standing back up, I allowed chad to get back into a protective stance before I continued to throw punches. My hair was sticking to my forehead, and my knuckles were starting to hurt.Before long, i was out of breath and needed another break. I turned away to get some water and was surprised to see Anna sitting at the bottom of the steps leading to the ring.

I spoke down to her, "Hey..."

"Oh... Hi. I um saw your car parked and just was looking for you." She mumbled, refusing to meet my eyes.

She started walking up the steps to meet me, "I didn't want to interrupt,"

"Oh. Well how long have you been waiting?" I asked just as she came to the place I was standing.

"Only give minutes or so."

"Oh, well You..."

She interrupted with a hug. "I thought you were going after Dustin. I know what he's capable of and you scared me half to death that he was going to hurt you."

"I was going after him. But I saw you trailing me and decided against it." She pulled away from my arms as she sniffled. Even though she had clearly been crying, she looked beautiful.

I held the ropes open for her as she stepped into the ring. I quickly introduced her to Chad. Anna shook his hand and quickly brought it back. Her arms quickly returned to my sides, making my stomach erupt in butterflies. I know her body clinging to mine has nothing to do with her having any feelings for me, but her contact with my bare arms made my skin tingle with pleasure. She slightly shook in my arms, making me feel bad for scaring her like that. After an awkward silence I spoke up,

"Well, thank you for your time,
Chad. It helped more than you know," I began to take my gloves off as Chad did the same.

I shook his hand, "I'll make sure to run it in my girlfriends face that I met you," he spoke sarcastically.

"Well, I'd love to meet her someday,"

"Maybe next time,"

Anna quietly spoke her goodbyes as she pulled me by the hand out of the building.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

I know its been soooooo long but i really needed this break to get everything back on track. this time of year is really very stressful fir me so pleaseeeee bear with me on my updating schedule. I will do my best but dont expect an update every sunday like I used to. This is veeeerrrryyyyy short and I know that and I'm sorry so I will plan to update tomorrow (hoping for a snow day. in that case i will try to update twice 😊😝😘😋) Have a merry christmas in case I dobt update (i probs will tho)
