The airplane made me feel and remember going to California that first time to meet Eddie and Orby. I would do anything to go back to that time. I get a packet of peanuts and a soda and settle down watching Emily watch Mickey Mouse. I remember when I was her age and watched those shows and tumbled around the house.
We got off the airplane at midnight. We headed to our hotel in a cab. Emily was asleep and Jack was all wide eyes and crying. I felt tired but not to tired. I had time to sleep in in the morning because I didn't compete till 10:00 at night. I ate a nutrigrain bar and sighed.
I woke up at 11:00 and I was starving. I brushed my teeth and stuck Nike pros and a T-shirt on. I walked downstairs and went to the buffet. I ate eggs, bacon, rolls, and a lot more food. I gulped down some milk, and maybe alittle orange juice.
I had my uniform on and was hairspraying my hair and combing back fly aways, when Emily comes in and smiles. I brush and do her hair for the competition. Once I am finished a knock at the door startles me. I open the door and right in front of me is Caroline. She is 13 years old and cheers at cheer athletics in Dallas, Plano Texas. I give her a big hug then she has to leave to go to her competition group. I wave and smile. Emily is standing in the doorway smiling and waving to. I crack up and push her in the door.
