Ava was tired from her private, she fell asleep in the car, so her mother had to carry her in and put her in her room, for a nap. Ava woke up in her bed buried in her covers. Ava crawled out of bed and turned on the light. Ava had a huge room with space in front of her bed.
Her father had bought Ava a ton of practice mats to play on for her birthday. They were stored in her closet in a little area. Ava pulled out a pink panel mat and lay it on the floor and added her 3 others to make a floor area.
She cartwheeled and tumbled. The hardest skill she did was a back-walkover. She didnt have the right mindset to do a back-hand-spring yet. The door-knob turned and Ava jumped.
"Hey princess, I thought I heard something in here." he said looking around.
"Yep, can you spot my back-hand-spring, please." she asked smiling.
He gave in and keeled down placing his hand on her back. She jumped backward and landed on her feet.
"Great job Aves! One more time." he said.
She nodded and set up.
"Hold on Ava." he said as he sneezed, but Ava was already jumping.
She stood up in disbelief.
"I did it daddy, thank you, thank you." she said jumping.
She made her father sit on her bed and watch her do it again. She landed with her hands still planted on the floor, but brushed her hair out of her face and stood up.
She held her father's hand as they clomped down the steps to see mommy. Ava's mom was sitting at the table feeding her baby sister, Ella.
"Mommy, Mommy I landed my back-hand-spring by myself." Ava shrieked.
Her mother applauded, but was interrupted by Ella spitting up all over her shirt and crying. Ava's mother's face turned to a lesser impressed face and went to clean up Ella. Ava followed and told her how she had managed to do it by herself. Her mother didn't really seem to care, but Ava didn't know that though.
Ava's mother asked Ava to pick out a new outfit that was a little nicer, because they were going to dinner that night with their cousins who came into town that day. Ava picked a onesie dress that had a jean top and a pink puffy skirt/bottom.
Ava's mother told her to go to her room and get undressed, so that she could come get her dressed. Ava skipped along the hallway to her room and sat on her bed waiting for her mother who finally came in and dressed her in an almost identical outfit. She french braided one side of her hair into a pigtail and the other into a straight back pigtail. She placed a pink headband with a fluffy bow on her head.
Ava was bouncing around the lawn with her black Nike shorts peeking from under when she cartwheeled.
"Ava Marie, your dressed up, stop it." her dad said.
She jumped into the car while her mother buckled her baby sister up. She buckled the buckles for the second time that day she leaned her head back against her seat.
