Ava loved her new teams and positions. Her mother was very surprised at her abilities when she had just started. Henry, Ava's coach also coached red and tangerine. He helped Ava with anything she didn't know how to do because it was her first year.

Tangerine's and Red's first competition was coming up the next day. Ava was really nervous. Her mother tried to calm her down but she couldn't.

"Ava hunny, you need to take a break and breathe!"

"No. mommy i need to practice for the competition tomorrow!" Ava said while tumbling on her mats.

Ava's mom gave up and sat on her bed watching Ava's movements to make sure she didn't fully exert herself. Ava's baby brother toddled into the room running onto Ava's mats. laying down. Ava shrieked and went to push him off the mats.

"AVA! no ma'am! your done go shower and brush your teeth and get in bed!"

"but mommy its only 5:30!"

"well, you have to compete tomorrow and your being moody!"

Ava whined and sat on the floor crossing her arms. Ava's dad came in and picked her up carrying the squealing child to the bathroom.

After she showered and brushed she was tucked in and shut up in her room. Ava fell fast asleep of exhaustion.

Ava's mother carried Thomas, Ava's brother, o her hip into Ava's room to wake her up. She shook Ava awake and went to her closet to pull out her uniform.

"Ava, meet me in my bathroom after you get changed." she said leaving the room.

Ava changed and walked into her mother's bathroom seeing Thomas sitting in a crib chewing on a ring.

"Hunny come sit on this stool so i can do your hair."

Ava sat.

"Owww mommy that hurts!" Ava yelled.

After an hour of moving and kicking, Ava's hair was finished and looked perfect. Ava's dad picked up the newly dressed Thomas and brought him to the car buckling him in and waiting for the girls to come out. Ava hopped down the front steps in her sliders, jersey and perfect hair and make-up. She threw her backpack at her feet and buckled herself in looking nervous, but excited for the competition.

After arriving at the competition, Ava was left with her teams after kissing and hugging her parents goodbye. Ava was very nervous and wouldn't talk to anyone besides Henry, her coach. He carried her to warm-ups because he was nervous she would break down into tears. Henry set Ava down at the tumbling mats and urged her to warm-up her tumbling. She obeyed and tumbled perfectly looking to the side smiling nervously. Henry high-fived the now jumpy girl and led the tiny team to the performance floor.

Ava ran off the stage to find her parents excited about her performance she had accomplished, but then she realized she had to go competed with Red her youth 2 team. Ava stopped running and walked slowly back to Henry who was waiting for her with a hug.

"You did soooo good Ava, how did you feel?"

"It felt good, but i wanna see mommy and daddy!"

"well sweetie you'll see them after Red performs, we have to get you back to warm-ups quickly." he says pulling her up onto a piggyback ride."

Ava squeals in delight and holds on tight ready to compete for the second time that day.

Ava runs off the stage again and finds her parents who embrace her in a big bear hug.

"You did so great hunny, I'm so proud of you! mom said

"Yes. you did fantastic, let's go get icecream to celebrate!" dad says

Ava and her teams got first place overall and highpoint in both divisions! Ava and her family celebrated that by..... getting icecream as they had said!
