The drone of the plane woke me up. My headphones hung around my neck still blazing music. I looked to my left and Jack sat leaning his head against the window. The outside sky looked dark and cloudy. Rain tapped on the windows. Eddie was on his computer doing work. Orby was passed out against the window. Emily was watching a movie on Netflix and had surprisingly not fallen asleep yet.
All of a sudden the speaker crackled and a voice came on.
"Hello, passengers, we will be landing in around 10 minutes, the weather in Tampa, Florida, is bright and sunny this fine morning." the lady said.
I pulled my headphones off my neck and pulled my hair into a ponytail. My neck was sticky and hot. I pulled the plug on Emily's iPad witch didn't make her very happy. I peeled the blanket off Jack and he woke up desperately trying to pull his blanket back onto him.
"Please fasten your seatbelts, we are about to land." the voice said.
The flashing overhead light blinked in my face. Dozens' of people clipped their seatbelts in right away, then you had some stragglers who were clicking last minute.
After they landed
The conveyor belt slid a suitcase around in a circle. A woman grabbed it and took off. A small red suitcase came near Emily who grabbed it. I checked the name and made sure it was hers. A light blue suitcase that said SMOED came by and I grabbed it quickly. When all the others received their suitcases we headed out toward our taxi.
The hotel room's were large. We had gotten all the passes for our team. Jack and Emily were just here to watch until Summit next weekend. They would enjoy the park while I did all the work. I guess it would switch around next week.
Jack, Emily, and I shared a room. I had set up my hair station and make-up station and layed my uniform out on a chair. Emily and Jack would sleep in the giant bed, whole I got the queen bed all to myself. I assumed Emily would come join me that night, because she gets quite nervous anywhere but home.
Some time later we headed to the character dinner for Jack and Emily. We got seated right away because we had reservations. Jack loved goofy and Emily loved every character that came by her table. She said she couldn't decide.
We went to bed quite early so we wouldn't be tired for the long day ahead!
