The gold medal hung around my neck. My whole team was back stage getting sized for their. I was going to get my ring a little bigger so it could fit for awhile. The ribbon connecting the medal clunked against my chest. My uniform was shining with everyone else's. I still couldn't believe I had just won Worlds. I was excited that I had won, but was excited to go hang out with my family in Disney land. We were going to go ride the tower of terror after we changed and freshened up.
The saddest moment was recognizing that was my last cheer competition ever. I had to go back to school. I was doing online schooling at the gym. I was going to coach some mini teams, but I was going to miss this team and all the others I had been on my entire life. I was going to continue tumbling and stunting.
The long line was soon passed by us. We had gotten fast passes to get to the front. We all sat in the seats with nerves. The bar was cranked down and checked. Caroline was shaking next to me. I shook her shoulders and told her it was going to be okay. The tower flashed by and so did all the memories of my wonderful life.
