Eddie got in the car and we drove back home to California. THe wind hurtled past our car that was fortunently scathed and unbroken. I saw broken buildings as we left the city limits to the airport. We walked onto the plane and sat in our marked seats. Emily was still shaking in fear. I hugged her and she lay on my lap. She fell asleep as I placed my headphones on my ears. I listened to Cheer1fm and watched some Netflix.
We arrived home and I collapsed on my bed exhausted. THe rain pounded on the windows making a drumming noise. I fell asleep quickly.
The car hummed as we headed to Cali allstars. The drone of the car was relaxing and I almost drifted to sleep. I hopped out of the car and walked into the gym and sat on the floor stretching. I tumbled on the tumble trak and tried my doubles. I landed all of them. I sat and watched Emily's team as they went ful out.
