(Hi! Ok, so here's the thing; I need a new cover for this book. This one is kinda....boring? Anyway, if you'd like, could someone make me a new cover? I'll tag your name! :3)

Two months later.

I stood in front of a gigantic mirror, staring at myself. Today was the day of my wedding. I was to be married to a Spanish Prince, like my mother said I would. My suitor, Jose, spoke little English, and had to have a translator with him. I barely understood anything he said anyway. I was currently dressed for my wedding. My dress was white with millions of little curls in the skirt. My top half was encrusted in hundreds of elegant jewels, with a pretty tiara on my head. The tiara was simple silver with a giant diamond in the center of it. My true hair wasn't showing. Instead, I now wore a white wig like my mother. It was sad to me, not being able to show my beautiful locks. I glanced down at my stomach, and sighed. Being two months pregnant, I was showing a little. It was just a small bump, though it was my bump. Mine and Norman's. Or, at least, I hoped the baby and Norman would be genetically related. The dress was hiding the bump a little. At first, my husband was angered that I was pregnant, until my mother described my "unfortunate events".

Speaking of Norman, I hadn't seen him since the night he tried taking me away with him. Poor Norman probably didn't even know that I was getting married. Either way, I missed him. I wished that he would be at the alter instead of Jose. But I could only dream of that happening.

I heard a knock at the door, and Mary came in without asking. I didn't mind much, mostly because she was my friend. And she helped me save Norman. I still kept the knife, just in case. Mary was dressed in a black maids dress like always. Only royalty was invited to this wedding.

"Ready, ma'am?" She asked.

"I guess." I mumbled. I heard her sigh, and come up behind me. Through the mirror, I saw her lacing my back up, tightening the strings and brushing me down.

"You look lovely." She mumbled, though there was no enthusiasm in her voice.

"I guess." I said, sighing.

"Don't forget the flowers." She murmured.

"I won't." I sighed.

"Be happy that he's 24 this time, and not 40." She said, trying to list the positives.

"True." I wouldn't mind if he were 46, had a nice subtle goatee with silver streaks, long chocolate brown hair, and brilliant blue eyes. And was the captain of a pirate ship. I glanced down at my hand, and twirled the ring on it. I still kept Norman's gift, and always wore it on my finger. Though today, I'd probably have to get rid of it. I sniffed, holding the ring closer to me. I also wore Jose's ring that he gave me. It was an a elegant diamond ring with small studded aquamarine gemstones encircling it. It didn't mean as much as Norman's, but I will admit that it was beautiful.

"Are you ready to go, My Lady?" She asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Do this for Mum. Do this for Mum. You're doing this to gain peace. Do this for the kingdom.

Mary led me out of my room and down the hall, towards the courtyard. I followed reluctantly, but faked a smile. The kingdom needed to know that I was happy. I glanced around the Hall of Kings. At the very end, I saw a few workers raising two enormous paintings of myself and Jose. My painting didn't look anything like me. My hair wasn't visible whatsoever, and my face was white, not a warm peach. My eyes looked dull, and my lips were too small. I looked down, letting out a small sigh.

"The painter did a good job, didn't he?" Mary said, smiling at the pictures.

"Not really." I muttered. "It doesn't even look like me."
