Well, Norman wasn't one to dwell on the past for long. In only a matter of one day, he had completely put it behind him and things had gone back to normal. I was somewhat thankful for it, though. I was getting tired of him hugging me all the time while I was working. The ship had set sail for the Caribbean now, and we were far from land. Too far for any English navy officer to locate us.

Currently, Captain was standing in front of the wheel of the ship, watching the sea go by in his eyes. He wasn't smiling, just searching the waves for something I wasn't sure of. I was sitting near him, reading a book, when suddenly, he grabbed my hand. I glanced at him, right before I was dragged to my feet.

"Look," he ordered, pointing out into the tides. I stared at them for a while, but nothing happened. Then, Norman grabbed my elbow and led me away from the wheel. He led me down to the side of the ship, and rested his hands on my sides. "Just watch. They'll come." He murmured in his rough, thick accent.

"What'll come?" I questioned, glancing at him. But he turned my head back to face the ocean.

"You jus' have ta be patient. Whales don' come when ya talk." He murmured, resting his head on my shoulder. I rolled my eyes, resting my hands on top of his. His hands moved to my stomach, and started rubbing little circles on it. I smiled, glanced down, only to have Norman tip my chin up to face the ocean again.

"How long do I have to wait?" I asked, pressing my back against his chest.

"Not long," Norman mumbled, kissing my shoulder.

"But-" before I could speak another word, I heard a small splash near me. I glanced down at the ocean instantly, getting extremely excited and nervous. Then, something leapt out of the water. But it was no whale. This was so small, that it was maybe as long as Norman was tall. It had a fin on its back, and a long snout. With a small hole a top of its head, it looked like a very strange creature. "That isn't a whale." I declared as more began jumping out of the water, only to submerge in a matter of seconds.

"Technically, it is. It's called a dolphin." He stated, kissing my ear. "More beautiful and majestic than a whale."

I watched in wonder as the dolphins began jumping by the ship, making little splashes in the waves. Such beauty had me hypnotized, and I barely felt Norman's hands resting on my shoulders, slowly rubbing them. Then, I heard a small series of squeaks coming from the dolphins. Those squeaks were responded to by other squeaks from different dolphins. "They're communicating!" I declared, smiling at the discovery.

"That they do." Norman murmured. "They speak to each other as though they were human. They are very intelligent as well. They travel in little pods and protect each other's young. But don't let their cuteness trick you. A few of these can kill a shark."

I turned to him again. "What? Kill a shark?"

"Yes. They are like you in a way. Sweet, cute, adorable, deadly, don't-fuck-with-me-or-I'll-cut-you." Norman stated, smirking at me.

"You think I'd cut you if I were angry at you?" I questioned, arching an eyebrow.

"If Jack hadn't knocked the sense into me the other night, ya probably would've." He said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"I'd never hurt you." I declared, placing my hands on his shoulders.

"Oh, you hurt me sometimes." He said. I instantly felt guilty.

"How?" I demanded, panicked.

"When you don't snuggle against me at night." He murmured, giving my a pouty face. I rolled my eyes.

"Good god you scared me." I growled.

"It just hurts so badly when you don't." He murmured, pressing his hips against mine. "It also hurts when we don't screw around."

"Well safe that for after the babe's born." I stated, gently nudging him in the shoulder. He growled, and went to kissing my neck. I shook my head and turned around again, watching as the dolphins started leaping into the sunset. Norman continued to smooch my neck in an attempt to seduce me. But I ignored it and watched the majestic creatures leap into the sunset.

Sorry for the short chapter. Kinda out of ideas of what should happen now. If you'd like, you could suggest me something and I'll work on it! (Please don't make it dark like if she had a miscarriage. The baby will live)
