I pulled away from Norman's kiss, smiling. He's smiling too, and rubbed my cheek.

"About time." I mumbled, placing my hands on his shoulders.

"Yeah." Then he pulled me back down, giving me a longer, deeper kiss. The sparks didn't die from the kiss, and it still sent lightning throughout my body. When we pulled away for the second time, Norman patted the spot beside him. "Lay down."

"Norman, I can't. I don't want-" I began to explain that I didn't want his stitching to open back up if I laid down beside him.

"Lay down with me. I'll be fine." He ordered. "As your captain, I command you to lay beside me."

I rolled my eyes, and made my way to the other side of the bed. I carefully sat down in it, keeping in mind if Norman's wound. I swung my legs onto the bed, and when I laid down, I felt an arm underneath my back. I sat up instantly.

"I'm sorry!" I squeaked. "I didn't know your arm was there."

"Quit apologizing and lay down." He ordered. I nodded, laying back down on his arm. Once I was settled, his arm wrapped around my waist, keeping me close. We sat in silence, him rubbing my bruised side. "You know who you killed right?"

"Not really." I mumbled.

"You killed their captain." He stated, smiling proudly at me. My eyes widened.

"Will they come back for revenge?" I asked.

"Shouldn't. We defeated their strongest man, and you're still alive. They won't attack us anytime soon. And it'd take forever for them to find us-" he broke off when a cough racked his body. I sat up instantly, and placed my hand on his forehead. He was burning up!

"Norman, I think you have a fever." I declared, getting off the bed and grabbed the cold water bucket and a different rag. Then I pulled up a chair and sat down by his head, dabbing his forehead with cold water. He coughed again. "Oh no. Norman, do you have any medicine?" I asked. Yes, he could fight it off. But if it got too strong or the wound got infected...

To my great concern, Norman shook his head while continuing to cough. I nodded. "Norman, we need to find some."

"I'm fine!" He snapped, his throat raspy from coughing. I continued to dab his head with the cold cloth. Then, I folded it and laid it across his burning skin.

"I'll be right back." I mumbled, leaning down and kissing him on the cheek. I didn't want to catch a cough. I needed to care for him.

"Where're you goin'?" He demanded, but I was already halfway out the door. I managed to snag his captains hat before I shut the door. I don't know why I did it, but I set it on my head. If felt...good.

The crew was busy cleaning up the bodies of the fallen. I glanced to my left, just in time to see three men emerging with a dead barbarian...and a dead Edward. I felt bad for him. He was sort of kind at first. But then again, he left me to get ravished by the barbarian. But still.

I headed to Jack, the only pirate I kinda know. He glanced up at me as I made my way towards him. When he say Norman's hat on my head, he made a confused look.

"Captain's coming down with a fever. His body could fight it off, or it could infect his wound." I explained. "We need to get to a town."

"Ma'am, we can't go to town. Ya do know what we are, right?" Jack pointed out.

"Do I look like a pirate?" I demanded, gesturing to me. And I probably didn't make my point, what with the pirate clothes I was wearing and the hat I stole from Norman. Thinking back onto that, I would have to return it soon.

"Ya kinda do." He stated.

"Ok, well why don't I put on that dress?"

"Isabelle, that's a royal dress. If someone were to recognize ya as Lord Bennington's daughter, you'd be taken back to the west coast." He said. I hated to admit it, but he was right.

"We could go to an island. The map shows that we're near one." Someone suggested. I glanced over, seeing that Henry suggested it.

"Are ya crazy?" Jack demanded before I could say anything. "That island is home to cannibals!"

"Cannibals?" I needed to learn more about pirates.

"They eat men. And they are men!" Jack explained. My eyes widened. Who would do such a horrible thing?

"Well, we need to get the medicine for Norm- Captain Reedus." I also needed to start calling him Captain Reedus in front of the other pirates. "There are natural herbs that help with coughs and fevers."

"So you expect me to lead my men into an island, full of man eatin' monsters?" He demanded, glaring at me. "I ain't takin' orders from a woman."

That comment sent fury through me. But that wasn't what infuriated me. It was the other men nodding and chuckling in agreement. I ripped my sword out of its sheath, and aimed it at Jack's throat. He stopped laughing, and glared down the length of the blade. "Would a woman have a sword to your pathetic throat?" I hissed, glaring up at him. He continued glaring at me. In the distance, thunder rumbled. "Where is the nearest island other than the cannibal one?"

"About two days east." Henry answered.

"Which way are we heading?"

"West. The cannibal island is only four hours and we're already heading that way."

I pulled my sword down, continuing to glare at Jack. I adjusted the hat on my head, and cleared my throat. "Men! We're going to an island of cannibals!" I declared, turning around and heading towards the steering wheel while continuing my speech. "It's going to be dangerous, and some of us may parish. But we will fight! Fight for our captain! And our legends will be spread across the lands of how we braved these dangerous men!" I shouted, standing by the steering wheel. "Our names will be known! Grandfathers will tell tales of us to their grandchildren! Who's with me?" I got a roar from the men, their swords raised. I felt my heart pounding with excitement. These pirates were following me! "Then let's go carve our legends in steel!"
