Jenna began running. Her paws thundered along the mud and her muscles surged with power. She held her sword in her mouth, her fangs clamped around the handle. The two guards had shifted into wolves too and were following her lead, holding their spear in their mouths as well.
Jenna came to a stop at palace. She barked instructions at the two guards then left to find Rowan, Skylar and Kayto. She bounded into the throne room. Skylar was pacing up and down, her crown firmly on her head.
"Sky!" Jenna quickly turned into a human. "Where is Rowan? Is Kayto here?"
"Calm down," Skylar walked up to Jenna "What's wrong?"
"He's here..." Jenna whispered. Skylar gave her a confused look. "Alcazar. The man that killed my father. He's here. He's going to kill you and Rowan. Kayto too..."
Skylar fell silent for a moment. Then, she nodded.
"We'll get Kayto and Ty and then go to get Rowan," Skylar thought for a moment "Wait, you said Alcazar?"
"Yeah, why?" Jenna asked
"My father had a captain called Captain Terio. His first name was Alcazar..."
"I think he said something about being the Captain of the Royal guards," Jenna agreed. Skylar lead her towards the back of the palace and to a room where Kayto was resting with Ty sitting beside him.
"Kayto, you're in danger," Jenna put it quite bluntly
"Wait, what?" Kayto sat up in his bed. Ty looked up in surprise.
"What, is he more hurt then we thought?" He asked, head titled.
"No..." Jenna sighed "A man called Alcazar is coming to take the throne. He wants to kill Rowan, Skylar and Kayto. He also...killed my father..." Jenna spoke quickly yet clearly. Ty looked back at Kayto and Kayto swung himself out of his bed.
"Then let's go find Rowan," he nodded. Ty stood beside him.
"Kayto, you're too injured to..." Jenna was interrupted before she could finish.
"If I'm too injured then so are you," Kayto pointed at her wounded arm.
Jenna couldn't help but smile.

"Rowan!" Jenna yelled. Rowan turned to face her and stepped closer. He was standing to full uniform, holding his Ruby incrusted sword and wearing his helmet. His black hair was mostly covered but his one blonde streak poked out from underneath. His purple eye glowed and pulsated.
"What are you doing here, Jenna?" He asked a little confused
"Alcazar is coming! He wants to kill you..." She explained. Skylar joined her. Kayto and Ty had travelled  there as wolves because Kayto found it easier to limp on four paws.
"Right..." Rowan composed himself and nodded, calmly. "We need to..."
"You need die, that's what you need to do..." Alcazar seemly step out of nowhere. Jenna felt herself snarl.
"I challenge you, Captain Alcazar de Terio to duel with me, Jenna Clawdette Silver, at moon-high," Jenna stood, proudly, by Rowan's side. Alcazar seemed to be contemplating the choices before nodding and speaking once more.
"I accept your challenge...but, be warned I fight to the death..." Alcazar turned and began to walk away "I'll meet you here at moon-high,"
Jenna watched as he left her sight. She turned back to Rowan who simply stood beside her, with no sign of leaving. She looked back at Skylar. She took a place beside her brother, signifying that she was on their side too. Kayto hobbled to his feet and stood proudly, just a little behind Jenna. Ty stood with him, Kayto leaning on him, slightly.
"Aren't you going to tell me I'm crazy and can't go through with this?" She asked Kayto
"I promised to protect not control your life," Kayto smiled "If things get too messy, I'll just have to step in..."
Jenna smiled back.

Jenna waited until moon-high with the others, on the edge of the town.
"Hello, again..." Jenna heard Alcazar growl as he remerged from the shadows. He was now holding a blackish-purple blade with a beautifully decorated hilt. Jenna drew her white and gold sword. They stood in front of each other and began circling. Alcazar bolted forward without any warning. Jenna had quick reflexes. She swung her sword up and blocked the blows, nimbly dodging his strikes. Alcazar was bigger and stronger then she was but she was swift. She was able to quickly strike him on the shoulder, although this seemed to do very little to stop him. Her arm began to bleed again, making it difficult for her to fight.
A sharp pain my her foot caught her off guard long enough for Alcazar to smack her around the head with the hilt of his sword. Jenna landed on her side, quickly recovering and sitting up. In the corner of her eye, she could see that Kayto was on his feet and Rowan seemed uneasy.
Jenna looked up to see Alcazar had his sword inches away from her throat. Her sword was out reached. Jenna bit her lip, sighing hopelessly.
