Chapter Four

Jace's POV

Telling them everything would get me in trouble by Ignitus, because I shouldn't be fighting my brothers I should be saving my fight for the Emperor and his army.

"So what happened? We heard yelling, and we felt the ground shake." Percival says, being just as annoying as before. Alec and I both exchange looks, both knowing that neither of us want to tell them what happened, but we have to.

"Me and Jace had an argument. I knew that I was annoying him but I just wanted to know what was bothering him. I knew what I was getting into." Alec says plainly.

"So what caused the ground to shake?" Grey asks.

"That was my doing, he frustrated me and so I smashed into the ground. He kept asking me questions, and it agitated me and so I felt with it." I explain.

"Well next time ignore him. Fighting among ourselves shows weakness. And it gives the Empire a advantage. Well with that being said lets get some sleep, I want to get to the temple sooner rather than later. And we can't have the Empire on out asses the entire way there." Ignitus says. We do as he wants. While everybody lays down by the fire, I find a soft patch of grass in the forest. I feel myself drift away, falling asleep after a long day.

I'm awoken by an explosion. By judging how hot the air is, its Ignitus. My mind races, their engaged in a fight. I jump up and burst into full on sprint, the air is dusty and I can barely see. I look to the side,and through the dust,and the tree line,I can see the early sun. When I get to the camp, everyone is on their backs on the ground,slowly getting up. I soon realize that the blast wasn't from Leo but a unknown person. Who is standing where the fire used to be.

"Who are you? And how are you able to use my magic?" Leo angrily asks, the person just laughs. I can tell that anger is swelling up inside Le.

"My name is Mimic. I'm a Memory God-Dragon Slayer." He plainly says." It allows me use any and all magic I observe. I'm also the third strongest of the Emperors high guard, The Sinister Five."He adds, then continues to laugh. Mimic is at least seventeen and has blue hair with white eyes,and is wearing the same suit of armor as yesterday, but cracked from hitting the tree.

Before I can do anything, Percival runs at him swings at him. Mimic dodges it by leaning backwards causing Percival to miss, Mimic then takes his falling arm and punches Percival in the face at full force. Percival lands on the ground unconscious. Then Grey runs at Mimic, obviously enraged at what just happened, then he swings he misses before Mimic picks him up by his shoulders and slams him into the ground, he's unconscious.

"Who else!?" I demand. He only laughs at me, this is aggravating.

"That's it I've had enough!"Alec screams, and then charges at Mimic.
"Equip! Thunder God-Dragon Class Set Thunder Scythe!"Alec once again equips, then Mimic does the same.

"Equip! Thunder God-Dragon Class Set Thunder Scythe!" Mimic says instantly equipping Alec's class set. Alec and Mimic are stuck in combat. And before Alec can get a hit on him, Mimic picks him up and throws him into a nearby tree, causing it to shatter. And right as I'm about to charge at Mimic, Ignitus runs at him which doesn't last long before he's thrown into another tree near Alec. It's just me and him.

"Come on you piece of shit!" I scream. And he throws down his version of Alec's thunder scythe, and as soon as it hits the floor it bursts into bolts of electricity. When I get to him he throws a left hand punch, which I dodge and I punch him I his rib as hard as I can with my left hand. When I do, I hear his ribs crack. He stumbles back covering his fractured rib cage, I use this advantage and throw a hard right hook at his face. This time he falls to the ground, and as he stands up I equip my favorite class set.

"Equip! Jagged Pole Arm!" I yell running at him. He does the same.

"Equip! Jagged Pole Arm." He says equipping my class set, it pisses me off. I swing at him with a upward strike, he blocks it. We continue this back and forth motion blocking each one of one another attacks. Then finally Ignitus stands up and casts.

"Flame Dragon's Breath!" Ignitus, releasing a stream of crimson red flames at Mimic. Who dodges it, and counters it with one of his own.

"Flame Dragon's Breath!" Mimic releases his own stream of Crimson red hot flames at Ignitus, who also dodges it which causes the forest behind him to bursts into flames. Ignitus then picks up a ball of fire and eats it, instantly becoming stronger. He then casts.

"Phoenix Dash!" Instantly becoming a body of flames and slams himself into Mimic, who is startled at what has just happened. And as Mimic is launched backwards, Ignitus unleashes a volley of punches at Mimic's face.

"Jace! Now use your special technique!" He yells, while  continually punching Mimic's face as if it was a punching bag, to keep him from seeing what I'm about to do. I do exactly what Ignitus wants.

"Metal Dragon's Scared Art: Metal Skin!" I scream, instantly turning my skin into cold Metal. Then it's my turn, as soon as Ignitus punches him one more time,and I jump in and punch him twice as hard as before and I don't stop. While I'm beating Mimic, Ignitus casts his special technique.

"Flame Dragon's Scared Art: The Embodiment of the Flame!" Instantly turn him into a gulf of flames, disappearing into the fire nearby. I throw Mimic into the sea of flames, the two of them made earlier that's now spread farther into the forest,and it gives Ignitus more room to put his special technique to good use. When he stands up I continue my assault on his face, as I continue my assault Mimic blocks my punch by grabbing my fist and Ignitus appears through the flames punching Mimic. When Ignitus punches him, he releases my fist. Realizing that there's nothing he can do he runs towards the waterfall, where the griffins were. Me and Ignitus follow him.
