Chapter Nineteen

Alec's POV

When I awaken, its now dark, I've have probably slept a few hours. I walk outside my room, as exit my room, Jace is entering his room. We don't say anything to each other, probably because he didn't see me. I proceed to walk towards the food hall.

Once I'm there, in the corner of my eye, I see a flash and then I hear a bang. I decide to see what is going. I walk to the double doors, that are separating the outside and the inside. I push open the left door slightly, to see what is going on, its Ignitus. As I push the door open, I can tell he's been practicing spells, because the structures in front of him have been destroyed.

"Well damn, Ignitus." I exclaim, smiling at him, startling him.

"What?" He replies, turning around, smiling back at me.

"Target practice much." I say, joking around, he smiles." So... I'm feeling better now, and I want a rematch, from when we were on the bridge. I wasn't ready then, and I feel im ready now." I add, challenging him to a fight.

"Are you sure? Because I ain't holding back." He replies.

"Yes, I'm sure." I reply.

"How much have you read of your guide?" He asks. I have only read three chapters. The basic Offensive spells and basic Defensive spells,and basic Scared Arts.

"Only three chapters." I reply.

"And your sure, that you're ready?" He asks." I've read four chapters." He adds.

"Yes." I reply, he shakes his head, in thought. I turn my head, towards where me and Percival fought earlier, and I smile. I turn my head back towards Ignitus.

"I will not fight you." He says." You haven't read enough, to fight me." He adds, what he just said pisses me off. I let out screeching scream, and then charge at him.

"Im not ready huh? Ill show not ready! Lightning Fist of the Thunder Dragon!" I cast, engulfing my right hand with lighting, and throw a right hook at Ignitus's head. He turns around so quickly, that it was like he was standing like that the entire time. He grabs my fist with his left hand, and then strikes me with his right hand, its hard enough to make me stumble backwards.

"I told you, you're not ready, but if you're going to attempt this, Bring It On! Bro." He exclaims, spreading his legs out, shoulder length apart. He's getting ready to fight me. At the same time, his fists bursts into flames. To be honest, I think he wanted me to attack me. I charge back at him, and jump just before I'm arms length away.

"Thunder Dragon's Talon!" I cast, spreading out my hand, into a claw formation, and allowing my entire hand to be surrounded by my lightning. I swipe at Ignitus, but he leans to the side, to dodge my attack. Once I land, I turn around, and I'm greeted by Ignitus's hand grabbing my head.

"Flame Dragon's Grip!" He casts, instantly blasting me in the face, with a massive amount of his Crimson flames. Once he let goes of me, I take a few steps back. I then charge back at him, and once I get close enough to him, I throw a right hook at him. He blocks it, then counters it with a right hook of his own, I block his hook. He then throws a quick left knee to my stomach, which makes me take a step back, he then throws a quick right crescent kick. When it hits my face, I stumble back farther. I charge back at Ignitus.

"Shocking Kick of the Thunder Dragon!" I cast, surrounding my right foot in my lighting, kicking Ignitus in the chest. He stumbles back, and then looks at me and smiles. I charge back at him."Now take this, Ignitus Thunder Dragon's Raging Bolt!" I cast, releasing a massive bolt of lightning, which is my version of Ignitus's Flame Dragon's Brilliant Flame, Ignitus doesn't have time to move and he throws his right fist into the bolt.

"Flame Dragon's Shield!" He casts, employing a magical dragon shield, that has a face of a flame dragon. The shield blocks the massive bolt, but it causes a chunk of the ground around ignitus to be ripped away by the force of the bolt. It also causes Ignitus to be forcefully pushed back." Now that was better." He says, grinning.
