Chapter Eleven

Jace's POV

When I wake up, I go the closet and open it, and a note falls out. It says:
-Jace-
I walk over to my bed and sit down, and open the note.

-Jace-
Before you guys graduated from the academy, I took the liberty, to design all of you guys a uniform. For when you all, would join the Council, and eventually become the next generation of Elders of the Council. I also took the liberty, of getting them made, and getting more than one of them made.

There's also a bag for each of you guys, its called the Dragon's Satchel. It can carry anything you need it to carry, without tearing or ripping apart. Also each of you guys have an amulet,with a jewel color of your magic. They are known as The Dragons Amulet, its another item that represents that your an Dragon Slayer. Enjoy, my son.

I walk over and put on what seems to be the outfit mentioned in the note,because there's thirty of them. It's a sleeveless black vest with metal studs on the shoulders, which extend past my shoulders, and the bottom ,extends down the sides. It's also opened half way down the middle, exposing the upper part of my chest, and also exposing half of my Mark of the God-Dragon. I also put on the what seems to be the matching pants, because there's so many, they are gray with black studs on the sides.

There's also a black belt, with a gray buckle, that I put on. I also put on my favorite thing in the closet, a pair of black and gray knuckle gloves,that has a metal ring around the end of each glove and metal studs on each knuckle. I also put on the pair of black boots, that match the uniform. In the left corner of the closet, there's a satchel. It must be the satchel, mentioned in his note, the Dragon's Satchel. It's black with thin gray stripes crossing over each other, the pattern covers the whole bag. I put what seems to be the Dragon's Amulet. It's a sliver necklace,with a sliver dragon spreading its wings. All while holding a onyx gem in its talons.

In my room, there's a closet by the door,and there's a window directly across from the door. Underneath the window is a desk, that starts by the window and extends to the right wall, my bed is in the left corner. In the right corner of the desk, there's a thick black and gray book. I walk over to the book, and I pick it up. On the front of the book has a black Mark of the Dragon, and the title reads: Metal Dragon Slayer's Spellbook and Guide. Above the title, it has my name written, I decide to read it later.

When I walk out of my room, I'm greeted by Alec. He's wearing a bright yellow and green trench coat, that extends to his knees. The trench coat is open down the middle showing Alec's muscles. The inside of the trench coat is bright green, while the outside is a bright yellow. The collar of the robe is yellow, and extends above the head on the sides, and is lower in the back.

He's also wearing a pair of bright green pants, and around his waist, he's wearing bright green belt with a bright yellow buckle. He's also wearing a pair of bright yellow boots. I'm assuming, that this is the uniform, that out father made for him. I also see something familiar, its his dragon amulet. It's a gold necklace, with a gold dragon,also spreading its wings. Just like mine, its holding a topaz gem in its talons.

"Did you get a note too?" I ask Alec, walking towards him, pulling out my note.

"Yeah." He responds,pulling out his note."So, that's your uniform, it looks badass." He adds.

"Yeah, thank you." I reply." Same to you, Alec." I add.

"So....whats your room like?" He asks me.

"Well, lets see your room." I reply, we walk into his room, his room is set up just like mine. Closet by the door, bed on the left side, and a massive desk that starts in the middle, by the wall facing the door, and extends to the right wall. The window above the desk, in the corner if the right wall there's a book. I walk over and pick it up. Just like my book, it has a bright yellow Mark of the Dragon on the front, and just like mine, it has Alec's name. Once again just like my book the title says: Thunder Dragon Slayer's Spellbook and Guide.

"Have you looked at this yet?" I ask Alec, who is standing at the door way.

"No, I didn't know it was there. When I came in last night, I changed into a bed robe, and went straight to the bed and went to bed. Why? What is it?" He says, walking towards me. I had him the book.

"Thunder Dragon Slayer's Spellbook and Guide." He reads."Did you get one?" He asks me, now looking at me.

"Yeah." I say. "I think all of us got one. The other rooms might have got one's as well." I add.

"They might." He says to me, while he's looking through the book.

When we walk out of his room, Ignitus is walking out of his room. He's wearing what has to be the  uniform that our father designed for him, its a jet black vest with crimson red edges and the collar comes is chin height. The vest has a open middle section and stops half way down his chest, which shows Ignitus's muscles. Also there is no right sleeve,which exposes Ignitus's Mark of the God-Dragon, and the left sleeve goes all the way down his left arm. The outfit also consists of  jet black shorts, also with crimson red edges and crimson red stripes on the side, and jet black sandals.

And there's also a jet black cloth, that hangs in the back, and he also has a jet black wristband on each hand. And just like me and Alec,he's wearing a Dragon Amulet,but his chain crimson red. And the dragon is crimson red with black streaks,and the gem that the dragon is holding in its talons, is an ruby. In his hands is a book, from the looks of it, its his guide.

"Hey, Ignitus what book is that?" I ask him.

"What this?" He says, pointing at the book. "It's The Crimson Flames Dragon Slayer's Spellbook and Guide." He adds,He walks past us.

"Where are you going?" Alec asks Ignitus.

"I'm going to explore, the Temple. So I can find the best place to be alone, so I can read this." He replies. "And I'm going to go eat." He adds.

"Well, I'm hungry too,and I'm pretty sure that Alec is hungry too." I tell Ignitus, Alec agrees. We begin walking with Ignitus.

"Wait is there anyone else up?" Ignitus asks.

"I don't know. I guess not since nobody has come out if their rooms." I reply.

"I guess your right." He says. We begin walking again. We pass through two archways, the hallways are long and old. On our way to the we pass a huge library, and the Sanctuary. While we were walking I peeked in the room, and in every corner there was a dragon of every element, and in the middle of the room was another dragon. I know that the dragons in the corner were elemental, because they showed the element on the statue.

When we get to the food hall, I'm amazed at how big it is. It's huge, in the back has rows upon rows of racks filled with food. In the front is benches, for to eat at.

Ignitus, walks over to one of the racks and grabbed an apple. He takes a bite out of it, and then leaves the hall. Meanwhile Alec has already grabbed a large plate of fruits and oats, while I grab a small plate of fruits and oats. All I can think about is how much time we might have here to train, before the Empire finds us.
