Chapter Sixteen

Jace's POV

Me and Grey carry Percival, to his room. We open the door, and walk over to his bed,to carefully, and gently place him on his bed,then we begin to bandage him. Once we're done, we walk to the food hall. On the way there, I stop off at my room, and grab my book.

As we are entering the food hall, Alec is leaving, and Ignitus is reading his guide. I walk over and sit next to him, and look over to see where he's at, he's on Chapter Two: Basic Defensive Flame Dragon Spells. I then begin open my book where I left off, last night, Chapter Two: Basic Defensive Metal Dragon Spells. I didn't even start reading this chapter. Grey grabs something to eat, I can't tell what he grabbed, but I know that using his healing abilites of his flames, drains alot of his energy.

-Metal Dragon's Shield-
The caster, throws one his or her arms into a incoming attack, and casts. When the caster,casts this spell, a large magic shield appears. The shields face is a Metal Dragon. This shield is strong enough to stop almost any attack.

-Metal Dragon's Barrier-
The caster, throws both his or her hands in front of them. Then the cast forms a fist in both hands,then smash them together, and casts. This forms a barrier of metal around the caster, this also is strong enough to stop any attack, but the downfall is that it costs a lot of both ,physical and magic energy, to cast.

-Metal Dragon's Flight-
This spell is both offensive and defensive. The caster, must allow the air,inside of the caster's body, which is from their magic, to flow into their feet and legs. And then cast. This allows the caster to fly like Metal Dragon's. Which allows the caster to quickly dodge and maneuver incoming attacks.

-Fortification-
While in Metal Dragon's Sacred Art: Metal Skin, the caster must allow their Metal magic, to flow throughout their body, and cast. This causes the metal casing of the Sacred Art, to harden by Three times, the original strength. This give the caster, even greater physical strength and endurance. It also can repair your Metal casing when used. But in return, the spell can slow the user.

"Last night I found, two other rooms, by the library....well to be technical, they're in the library. But have an entrance in the back." Ignitus says, not only breaking the silence,and at the same time it interrupted me reading.

"Did they have names? Like ours?" Grey asks, now looking at Ignitus.

"Yes...." Ignitus replies,before I cut him off.

"What were they?" I ask, interrupting him.

"Sting and Rogue. I've never heard of them, Have you guys." He asks the both of us.

"No." I say. While Grey shakes his head,no." I guess we will have to wait and see who shows up." I add.

"Hey, Jace, I challenge you to a fight. And no holding back on me." He says.

"Why? Aren't you drained, from using your healing abilites?" I question him.

"No, not anymore, the effects have started to wear off quicker than before. Anyways even if I was, I want to push myself, I need to get better." He tells me and Ignitus.

"Ok, then lets go." I say, accepting his challenge.

All of us walk outside, this time, Grey takes us to where the cave is, which is the cave we used to get here quicker. Ignitus walks to the wall off to the right, which joins the mountain and the Temple, and sits down. He then opens his guide and begins to read. I turn my head to Grey, I put on my most serious game face, and be does the same.

"Grey, you asked me not to hold back. Well I'm not going to. Because that would make this fight useless, and pointless. And no holding back, on me Grey, I want to feel the power of your magic. Win or lose, I want to go to my room, and be in alot of pain." I tell him, this startled him, because he takes a step back. As if what I said, scared him."Ready?" I add.

"Let's do this." He says, it just might be me but he seems nervous. Nope, he's nervous, because after he said "lets do this", even Ignitus looked at him. Grey begins to run at me, I stand put and prepare for him to attack me.
