Chapter Eighteen

Jace's POV

"In fact, that was your best attack yet." I tell Grey, he looks back at me, with almost terrified eyes." Don't look at me, like that, its true." I continue.

"Why, thank you, there will be more where that came from." Grey says attempting to taunt me,while still sounding terrified.

"Give your best shot." I taunt in return, he begins charges at me. But I got other things in mind.

"Metal Wall!" I cast, stabbing the ground with my right hand, causing an wall for metal spikes to form, and continue to form. Grey jumps into the air to dodge.

"Flame Dragon's Smash!" He casts, engulfing both of his hands in his dark flames, and smashing my newly formed wall. This causes an explosion, so great that the whole wall, shatters. He looks at me, and begins to charge at me again. And as soon as he gets close, as always he attacks.

"Iron Fist of the Flame Dragon!" He casts, punching me in the face, which I allow him too."Swift Kick of the Flame Dragon!" He casts, kicking me in the side. I'm going to allow him to keep attacking me." Iron Fist of the Flame Dragon! And then again Iron Fist of the Flame Dragon! And once more Swift Kick of the Flame Dragon!" He casts, combining iron fists with swift kicks, I allow all of his attacks go through.

And just when I thought he was done, he wasn't."Flame Dragon's Brilliant Flame!" He casts, releasing a giant ball of his flames, when it hits me, it knocks me thirty feet back, I'm now almost of the side of the cliff. My Sacred Art's effects are beginning to wear off, because of the amount of damage taken. My casing of metal is cracked all over, to the point where one more hit will cause it to crumble. I look down at myself, and then look at Grey. My training uniform is completely intact, Grey's on the other hand, is almost completely destroyed.

"Alright, you had your fun, time for final stage. Fortification!!!!!" I cast, instantly repairing the casing and causing the Metal casing to darken. While increasing my offensive and defensive capabilities, it will slow me down. My casing is completely repair. Grey is startled by this. I charge at him, he's frozen in place.

"Metal Dragon's Elbow! And then Titanium Fist of the Metal Dragon!" I cast, increasing my fists power even more than what it already was. I punch him in the face, and his body spins in the air, for a moment before falling into the ground. He's out cold, there no waking him up. I let loose of the casing, allowing my skin to be present again. I pick him up, his body is bruised severely. I begin to walk back to the Temple.

Once I'm out of the cave, and on the other side. Ignitus is no longer sitting of the wall, in fact he's no where to be seen. I walk into the Temple, and head to Grey's room. Once I'm there I push open the door, and walk over to his bed. I gently set him down. I know when he wakes up, he'll be pissed. But it'll be OK, I walk out of his room, and walk I to mine. I walk over to my bed, and lay down. Then I realize, I'm starving, and I'm thinking about getting a lot of meat or metal. So I get up, and walk to the food hall.

When I enter the food hall, in the corner of my eye, I see a flash of red. It's coming from outside. I walk outside, and its Ignitus, he's practicing a new spell, that he just learned about, from the looks of it,I'd say its his version of my Metal Dragon's Barrier. Which if I had to guess its name, its probably Flame Dragon's Barrier. He then begins to practice martial arts, that we all know, and some that I haven't seen before. As soon as I finish that thought, I walk back to the food hall.

When I enter, I walk to the shelves, and grab griffon meat, which is golden yellow, and then I start a fire underneath the pot, and place a sheet above the meat. I then place the meat on the sheet. I then start to cut up some potatoes, and peppers. I then throw them into another pot. Within twenty minutes, everything is done, I sit down, and eat my food. The meat is succulent, and the vegetables are great.

After I eat, I place my plate in the rack, and then walk back to my room. Once I'm in there, I lay back down, its sunset, and Im beginning to feel myself, fall asleep. I slide of my boots, my glooves. Then I take off my vest and place it on the floor, and allow myself to fall asleep. And within three minutes, I'm asleep.
