Chapter Seventeen

Grey's POV

As I run at Jace, begin to think about how nervous I am, but i cant let that get in my way, of winning. Once I'm close enough to strike, I jump in mid stride.

"Iron Fist of the Flame Dragon!" I cast, engulfing my right fist in my deep purple flames, which are known as Dark Flames. He dodges my attack, by simply leaning out of the way. Then counters it by, grabbing my robe and throwing me to the floor. He walks at least ten feet away, before turning around and just stands there.

"You're going to need to do better than that." He says plainly. I get up, and I once again charge at him. As soon as I'm close enough to strike him, I jump up into the air.

"Iron Fist of the Flame Dragon!" I cast, Jace dodges my attack, by leaning backwards. When I see an opening, I take it."Swift Kick of the Flame Dragon!" I cast, he again he dodges it, by leaning forward, and the counters.

"Titanium Fist of the Metal Dragon!" He casts, instantly hardening his fist as hard as titanium. He punches me in the face, as soon as I land from my jump. When it connects, it throws me ten feet back." I told you, now, you are going to have to do something better than that."He says grinning. I've got to think of something, and fast, in order to stand even a small chance against Jace. Ahh, I got it.... Using long distance attacks will cause him to have to come at me, giving me a chance to strike.

"Come on get up." He says."We ain't even done yet." He adds, pointing out the facts that I'm still in the ground from where he had punched me. I stand up, and take a few steps back.

"Cone me and get me, Jace." I taunt him, as I walk towards the cave,he follows me. Once I've entered the cave, I run down the declining slope. There's tons of rock spikes hanging front he ceiling of the cave, and on the ground pointing upwards. I hide behind a group of rock spikes, Jace enters, as soon as I get behind the rock spikes. I jump out.

"Fireball!" I cast, throwing a ball of my deep purple flames, at Jace. He dodges them, which causes a explosion. Rock debris flies everywhere, Jace covers his face and I do the same.

"Iron Spikes!" He casts, releasing a wave of iron beams, that have a sharp point at the front, and blunt side at the back. I dodge this attack, by rolling off to the side. I quickly stand back up.

"Flame Dragon's Breath!" I cast, releasing a stream of my dark flames. Jace dodges, and then counters.

"Metal Dragon's Breath!" He casts, he releases a gust of cool air, filled with tiny pieces of metal shrapnel. I dodge his attack, by running behind a rock formation.

"Flame Dragon's Roar!" I cast, releasing a echoing roar, that breaks a few if the ceiling spikes, but causes more to fall and break. Have and I have to cover our selves, from the rock spikes that fall. We run out of the cave, but not towards the Temple, but by the cliff. Overlooking the whole mountain range, I run to the middle and turn around, and wait for Jace. Jace I was farther back than me, which gives me the opportunity of first blood out here. He comes walking into sight.

"Fireball!" I cast throw ball of my flames at Jace, which hits him in the stomach, and this causes an explosion. Jace walks out onto the cliff.

"Metal Dragon's Sacred Art:Metal Skin!" He casts, as I watch as his skin turns into solid metal. He then stabs the ground with his metallic hand, and casts."Metal Wall!" Instantly a wall of metal spikes come shooting out of the ground. I jump into the air to dodge his attack.

"Flame Dragon's Brilliant Flame!" I cast, forming a massive ball of my deep purple flames, and throw it directly at Jace. He stands there and dies nothing, the blast pushes him back, he stands right back up. There's not even a scratch on him. He runs at me.

"Metal Dragon's Bronze Elbow!" He casts, as he jumps into the air."Titanium Fist of the Metal Dragon!" He casts, instantly hardening his, as hard as titanium. And when it hit me, it was harder than the last time, this time it's so hard that my whole body is propelled into the air and begins to spin. I land on the ground with a thud. I don't understand, why it was so powerful.
Wait, he casted, Metal Dragon's Bronze Elbow, which sounds alot like Flame Dragon's Flaming Elbow, which increases the power of a Flame Dragon Slayer's punches. Which is probably the reason why it was stronger, because it increased his punches power. I slowly stand up, and Jace begins to charge at me. And as soon as he gets close to me, he swings at me with a full fist. Before she can hit me, I grab his arm.

"Flame Dragon's Grip!" And I blast him, with a massive amount of my flames, and then I throw over my body. He lands on the ground, on his side, this causes a thud. He quickly stands back up, and begins to grin.

"That was better, than before." He says grinning.
