Chapter Twelve

Leo's POV

As I walk out of the food hall, I take another note of my apple, and begin to think "Where would be a great place to read this book. It has to be quite and peaceful, but not far from the Temple". That's when it hits me like a sledgehammer, the library, its massive. I walk into the library, eating my apple, I almost instantly find the perfect place. It's a balcony on the side of the library, and I decide that it's going to be my place to read. I walk back to the food hall.

"So did you find a place?" Alec asks me, as I enter the food hall.

"Yes, I did." I reply." Once everyone has gotten up and eaten I need to have a talk with you guys. All of you." I add, sitting down by Jace.

"Ok." They say simultaneously.

I open my book, a letter falls out, and on the back of the cover, there's a note. The note says:

Ignitus,
   My dear son, this book will help you master your Crimson Flames, and when you do nothing can stop you. Don't lose this book..... And at all costs, do not allow the Emperor, to get his hands on this book.
               -Vastimus-

Those words are my fathers last words, those words are almost enough to make me cry, but I'm engulfed in hate for the Emperor, I swear I'll make him pay. I turn the page, and the next page says:

-This book contains everything a Crimson Flames Dragon Slayer needs to master the art of Crimson Flame Magic. There's sections that has Basic Knowledge, and Magic Spells, and Sacred Arts. There are four levels of magic, and they are: Basic, Moderate, Master and for those who can master their this rare magic, Ancient. Each level is more powerful and devastating than the last. Enjoy -

I was always told that you can ascend in the chain if you can master all four levels. I know that the Emperor is a God-Dragon Slayer of Volcanic magic. I will become more powerful than the Emperor, and if ascending in the chain of slayers is the only way to do it, I'm going to ascend. There's nothing I want more to beat the Emperor.

To keep my mind on the task at hand, I walk to the balcony. On my way there I see Grey. He's wearing what his advanced Dark Flames God-Dragon uniform, which is a purple and black hooded robe that is made of cloth wrappings, and on each arm there's two black wrappings that hang. The robe is mostly purple,and the robes matching pants are baggy. He's also wearing a pair of black sandals.
               
"Grey." I say, grabbing his arm as he walks by me.

"Huh?" He asks.

"Tell everyone that, once everyone has eaten to meet me in the library." I tell him, he nods in agreement. I watch him walk into the food hall, before I continue to walk to the library. Once I get to the library,I walk onto the balcony and I climb on to the ledge. From the view, there's a valley and there's also a waterfall that is running underneath the Temple. I open my book and begin to read.

- Chapter One: Basic Offensive Flame Dragon Spells-
These are a flame dragon's slayers most basic offensive spells, with descriptions.

-Fireball-
The caster, forms opens their hand, allowing a ball of flames to form, and then throws it at their target.
This is the basic of all of the Flame  Dragon slayers. This is an offensive spell, that allows the caster to generate a ball of fire, based upon their color of fire. In doing so, the caster will be able to throw it at their opponent. This will cause an explosion,if it makes contact. If it makes contact it will not only burn the opponent, but disorient the opponent.

-Flaming Fist of the Flame Dragon-
The caster, casts by balling up their fist, and allowing their flames to flow into their. This causes their fist to engulfed by their flames.
This offensive spell allows the caster to increase the strength of his punch, by attacking with the strength of a Flame Dragon. While their fist is engulfed in their color of fire.

Before I can finish reading the chapter, Percival walks over to me. He's wearing the almost the exact same thing as Grey, but where its purple on Grey's uniform, its white on his, and where its black on Grey's, its royal blue. He's wearing a pair of white sandals.

"We're waiting for you." He says.

"Perfect." I reply, we walk into the library, and everyone is sitting down at one of the many tables in the library, except for Jace, who is leaning up against a shelf of books with his head down and arms folded across his chest.

"So? What is it that you need to talk to us about." Alec asks, I stand in front of the table, and prepare to give my speech, as they would call it.

"In order to defeat the Emperor and the Sinister Five, and the Emperor's army. We are going to have to train, and hard, and study hard. Because if we don't, we will be as useless as the fight itself. I went touring the Temple, while everyone else was sleeping last night. There's a room in the back of the Temple, its a training room, the the system it uses is better than what the academy used. It uses the Dragon Training System or DTS for short....." I say before I'm interrupted, by Alec's sudden outburst.

"That's the best system out!" He says, standing up." And we're going to train with it, some of the most experienced has had trouble beating dragon it creates, out of the users magic type." He adds.

"That's right. Now...starting today, when we are not studying or training with one another, we will be in the DTS. This is the only way to become strong enough to take on the Empire." I say." Now lets get moving, either go study or challenge one another, or go train with the DTS." I say walking back out onto the balcony, and climbing up onto the ledge.
