The Bombshell

Part 5: Emma's Pov

   The reunion seemed happy, but we now had Zelena tied up. What were we going to do wth her? "Sorry to interupt, but we have more important things to deal with right now than the two of you playing tonsil hockey." Now that Robin had his heart back, he was safe; at least for now, but if we didn't do something about Zelena soon, then things were likely to get a whole lot worse.

   "I'm sorry, but who the hell are these people?" Lily looked somewhat bewildered by the whole situation and I didn't blame her; no one had given her an explanation.

   We all exchanged look unsure as to how to explain. "It's complicated." I started, but Regina cut in.

   "She's my half sister; the bastard child of my mother and some nobody she met in a tavern." Zelena looked hurt, but it was clear that Regina no longer cared whether or not she hurt her sister's feelings. I feared that this time, there would be no chance of a reconciliation.

   "And him?" Lily was referring to Robin of course and I couldn't help but wonder how Regina planned to explain this one, but she didn't need to as Robin himself took the lead.

   "I'm Robin. Robin of Locksley. It's nice to meet you." Lily seemed not to believe him, but shook his hand regardless. "Allow me to explain." She gestured for him to proceed. "Regina is the love of my life, but when Emma and Killian travelled back in time after Zelena here cast a curse they ended up bringing back my previously deceased wife Marian. Shortly after they returned, Marian became gravely ill and it became apparent that the only way she should survive was if we were to leave Storybrooke. It meant that I was forced to leave Regina behind also, however as you witnessed, it turns out that Zelena has been impersonating my wife since their return from The Enchanted Forest." While Lily was trying wrap her mind around all of this, I , myself was forming my own views on the matter.

   "And now Zelena and Regina are both pregnant, and both children are yours?" This was a lot for anyone to get to grips with, but even more so for Lily who was not raised within a world of magic.

   "Correct. You see what we meant by complicated." It was obvious how much Robin loved Regina, but I also understood why he moved on. He stayed with Marian for Roland and since he never thought he would see Regina again, he thought it best for his son if he were to make a go of it with Marian. How was he supposed to know that it was really Zelena. "And you are?" Lily now knew everyone in the room, but they had no idea who she was.
