This was my life now; on the run from The Queen. She destroyed everything I had once held dear, and all because I told a secret when I was younger. I kept hoping that maybe she couldn't hold this grudge forever and that one day maybe she would forgive,  but then something would always happen to make me realise that she'll never give up hunting me down.

.

I had taken to stealing from the rich to survive. I would hijack royal carriages, steal their gold and be gone before they knew I was even there. Today was no different; hiding in the bushes awaiting a carriage carrying gold on route from The Queen's Castle.

.

"Finally!" I exclaimed as I heard the horses nearing. I waited and waited until just the right moment, and then I made my move.

.

I ran towards the carriage, forcing the door open, coming face to face with The Queen herself. "Surprised to see me?" I couldn't speak; I was in shock. This was meant to be a simple gold delivery; Snow White wasn't supposed to be anywhere near here. I turned to run. "Charming, stop her!" The Queen commanded; her henchman appearing behind me to carry out his orders.

.

"Snow, when is this going to end?" I was of course referring to her quest for vengeance, but the smile on her face told me that it wouldn't be any time soon.

.

"You're responsible for the death of my true love. What makes you think I'll ever stop?" James; the secret I told had led to his death and for that she would have to make me suffer.

.

"I've said I'm sorry so many times, and I am. Snow, I truly am sorry." She wasn't listening. Instead, she thrust her hand into my chest and pulled out my beating heart. "Please Snow, don't do this?" She gripped it tighter; the pain coursing through my entire body an the evil look in her eye becoming ever more seething.

.

"Your Majesty, perhaps it would be best to let her suffer a while longer before putting her out of her misery." So, the puppet finally spoke. She probably had is heart locked away somewhere too. It wouldn't surprise me.

.

"Perhaps you're right." Snow forced my heart back inside of me and pulled my face to within inches of her own. "You know now that I can find you and kill you any time I wish, so you better watch your back." In no way was that an empty threat. She turned and climbed back into her carriage as I fell to the ground. "Time to go. I'm bored." And with that, the carriage pulled away.

.

I heard rustling from some nearby bushes. "Who's there?" I shouted, not sure of the type of response I was expecting. That's when I saw them approaching me; a young boy no older than fifteen, and a scrawny looking man carrying some sort of satchel.

.

"My name is Henry. I'm your son." This boy was clearly confused, or crazy, or both because I certainly do not have a son. I've never had any children; ever, so why would he possibly think that I was his mother?
