"So, what do we do about The Author?" Emma asked. Now that my psycho sister was out of the way, I could focus all my energy on finding that idiot and his magic pen so he could rewrite my story and give me my happy ending.
"Have any of you actually found where Gold is hiding?" I looked around the room at everyone; each of their faces bearing a blank expression. How could no one know anything? "Really? None of you have any idea at all?" This was unbelievable. "How are we supposed to stop them if we can't even find them?" I could no longer look at them. I turned away and ran my fingers through my hair stressing about what to do.
"Look, Regina's right." I should have known Emma would continue to have my back. "We need to know what they're planning, but we can't do that if we don't know where they are." She was smart, and seemingly just as invested in finding The Author as I was.
"I can check the shop again. There was nothing there before, but knowing Rumple, if there was anything worth finding it'll be there." The book worm had a point; The Dark One was more than a little predictable with his hiding spots.
"Good." Emma responded. "Will and I will come with you. Regina, you Robin and David go double check the cabin. Mary Margaret, you stay here with the boys." Of course she was referring to Neal, Roland and Henry, but Emma's mother was not happy about being sidelined yet again. It was bad enough that Emma was barely talking to her parents, but making her mother feel like a useless failure wasn't the best idea she'd ever had.
