"Heidi, it's time."
I turned my head to see my older brother standing in the doorway with the biggest grin on his face.
I stood up and slowly walked over to Liam. He eyed me up and down, his grin even bigger.
"Wow, you look absolutely ravishing, sis."
"Thank you," I said with a smile.
Liam suddenly hooked his arm around mine. He walked me out of the ushers room and to the open area behind the back of the church.
I was so happy that today was the day. I was finally going to marry my Irish cutie.
Liam leaned down and whispered, "Hope you don't have cold feet."
I giggled a bit as I replied, "Little too late to back out now, don't you think?"
Liam chuckled as he said, "Just a little."
We took a few steps closer to the doors that opened to the back of the church as, Harry's daughter, Darcy started to walk down the aisle in her frilly flower girl dress. I watched as she dropped pedals of white roses from the small white basket she was holding.
My mind raced to millions of thoughts. Thoughts of Niall and mine new life. Thoughts of us having children. Thoughts of having our own family.
The thoughts cut off when I heard the piano riff change to 'here comes the bride' begin to play.
Liam and I took a step forward as the congregation stood up and turned as all eyes were faced to us.
I looked down at the strapless velvet dress I was wearing. The top was fitted to my torso as the skirt of the dress ruffled out.
My hair was put up in a bun as my bangs were to the side of my face.
The jewelry I wore all had pink diamonds instead of traditional ones. My necklace was shaped like a rose, pink diamonds outlining the shape.
I wore two bracelets that were once my sister's when she'd gotten married years ago. Both had a small part of the 'serenity prayer' engraved into it.
Last, which was not on me yet, was the engagement ring. It was a little bigger than I thought it'd be but I loved it.
Liam looked to me and smiled, "Start with your right foot. And.....go."
I giggled as Liam slowly escorted me down the aisle of the small church.
It felt a little weird to have my brother escort me since my sister was escorted by our late father.
He'd passed a month ago from cancer. It hurt everyone in the family. We never saw it coming but God thought it was his time and we understood.
Liam was next thing to a father. Even though he was only three years older than me, he cared about me like he was my father. I loved him to death.
He's the one who introduced me to Niall. He was a little pissed at first that his best friend was dating me but once it was sinked into him that Niall would take care of me and wouldn't let anyone hurt me, Liam was happy, actually a little too happy, that we were together.
Before Niall proposed he had asked my mum and Liam and, of course, Liam couldn't stop smiling, as Niall said. I loved Liam. He was my bubby and, well, I can't hate my bubby.
Liam kissed my cheek as he handed me off to Niall. Liam looked to Niall as he said, "Take care of my baby sis."
Niall smiled as he replied, "Will do."
I took Niall's hand as I stood next to him. I couldn't help but stare into his ocean blue eyes.
He looked so stunning in his black tux. His hair, which I forced him to do, was styled in a quiff.
The one thing that I really noticed were the white high tops he was wearing. I wasn't too happy about the fact that he wanted to wear them but I got over it since he let me pick out our colors.
He wasn't the happiest to be wearing a neon green tie but he didn't care. As long as I was happy, he was happy.
Niall's eyes scanned me from the neon green heels I was wearing, to the white vail placed on my head.
"You look absolutely beautiful, princess," he whispered to me.
"Thank you," I said blushing.

"Niall, will you take Heidi to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish her friendship and love her today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor her, laugh with her and cry with her? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"
Niall smiled at me as he said, "I will."
The priest looked to me as he carried on, "Heidi, will you take Niall to be your husband, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish his friendship and love him today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"
With a small from ear to ear plastered on my face, I replied, "I will."
The priest smiled at both of us as he said, "Niall and Heidi, May you live happily ever after. May all your days be blessed with love and friendship. May each day and night of your lives be a new beginning. By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
Niall swooped me off my feet and dipped me, my veil almost falling off, as he placed the softest kiss to me lips. The congregation was in cheers as Niall brought me back on my feet.

"Let's hear it for the newly weds everyone!!!" the DJ yelled as Niall and I walked to the center of the dance floor.
"Will everyone please stand to watch this perfect couple dance their first dance as a married couple."
The bridesmaids, groomsmen, family, and close friends stood around us in a circle, leaving a good part of the dance floor to ourselves.
My eyes instantly lit up as the song 'kiss me' started to play.
Niall could see the enjoyment in my eyes as he said, "I picked it just for you, princess."
"Aww, Ni," I cooed.
Niall smiled as he wrapped his hands around my waist as mine were wrapped around his neck. My fingers entwined together behind his neck as his entwined behind me back.
Niall gave me a wink as he began to sing in a whisper, "🎶Kiss me like you wanna be loved. You wanna be loved. You wanna be loved. This feels like, falling in love. Falling in love. We're falling in love.🎶"
Niall leaned down to steal a small kiss from my lips.
I could hear numerous of whistles coming from the crowd of people, making my cheeks a bright pink.
Niall smiled as he said, "I love you, princess."
"I love you, Ni."
Niall leaned down and whispered into my ear, "Promise I'll be your only prince?"
I slightly giggled as I said, "As long as I'll be your only princess."
Niall smiled as he said, "And that's why I married you. You're my perfect, fragile princess."
"Sure, fragile? No. You got it wrong Horan," I said in a playful way.
He chuckled then said, "You're fragile to me. And I won't let anyone hurt you 'cause you're my princess and I'll protect you like I'm your prince."
