Lucy's POV:
Natsu walked me back to palace in almost complete silence until we were almost at the door steps when he finally said," I like your friends."
That kinda startled me a bit, but I turned around and gave him a smile and replied," I knew you would." We walked a couple more feet before Natsu said" I gotta get home, but I will definitely see you tomorrow at the party." He then took my hand and kissed it before running off into the woods. I blushed a but at his gesture but shook it off as I walked through the castle gated and up to my room.
Natsu's POV:
"Why the hell did I do that." I said to my self as I started running towards my kingdom. As soon as I made it to the meadow I busted out my wings and flew the rest of the way home.
It was a long day and I just wanted to go to sleep, I walked into my room and laid down on my bed when I heard a knock on my door. " come in" I mumbled as I say up from my comfy position. My little sister Wendy peaked her head in the door.
" umm Natsu, I just wanted to tell you that dinner is ready" she shyly said as she hid behind the door.
" I will be down in a minute Wendy, and I got something for you." I say as I stand up and reach into my pocket pulling out one of the invitations Lucy gave me.
" what's this ?" She asked me as I handed her the invite. " it's an invite to a ball in the human kingdom. I had two of them and I know how much you love party's." I smile at her had a look of excitement grows on her face.
" oh my goodness, thank you Natsu!!" She jumped up to give me a big hug and kissed me on the cheek before tuning out of the room to plan her outfit. I then walked down to the dinning room to eat some food.
