Lucy's POV:
This party is turning out worse then I imagined. That dance with Dan was just horrible, now I know I don't wanna marry him he kept starring at other women. I went out to the balcony to get some fresh air and to clear my head. The starry night sky gave me comfort as a cool breeze made the tree leaves sway.
"Are you ok?" A manly voice came from behind me and made me jump as I turned around to see who it was. "oh hello Natsu," I say to the pink haired man behind me," I'm sorry you had to witness that dance, I'm not very light on my feet." I look down to avert his onix eyes because I felt guilty about not telling him I was engaged.
He sits on the balcony next to me before speaking again," maybe you just haven't found the right partner." As he said that I blushed; why does he make me feel all warm inside,I think to myself.
"so why didn't you tell me?" He look over to me, and I look down again before replying." Because I didn't have a choice." I say with tears starting to form in my eyes. " well that's not fair." Natsu says as he turns to me and notices my tears," hey Luce, don't cry." He puts his hand on my cheek and wipes a tear off as it begins to fall.
"Why don't you just tell your father that you don't want to marry Dave, or whatever his name is." The word he spoke kept rings in my head for some reason. I could just say no. Natsu then put his arm down as my tears began to stop and We sit in silence nuntil the song changes and Natsu grabs my hand." May I have this dance."
