Two hours had passed since Josh left in order to do what Davina had asked. Was he in trouble? Did Klaus find out what he was trying to do? Regrets filled the brunette girl as the hours flew by. Should she go and see if he was alright? Or was she just worrying too much?

God, how she hated that! Thoughts swirling around her mind, every twisted scenario playing as a film in her head. She shouldn't put him through this. If she wasn't so stubborn then, she wouldn't need to worry if Josh was still alive or not.

Technically, he's not alive but---oh come on Davina, it's not time for this!

As she was about to burst out of the attic and go find Josh, a knock on the door was heard and the next second, Josh had appeared in front of her, panting lightly and smiling proudly.

"Oh thank god, I thought something happened to you!" she said, a big sigh escaping from her lips as she glanced at him.

"Well something almost happened. For half an hour I was standing outside, hidden, to make sure no one was inside. While I was snooping around in the mansion, Freya came in but, fortunately I managed to hide just in time."

"And? Did you get the hairs?"

Josh looked at his shut fist, which had now opened and pieces of hairs could be seen. Davina's face glowed when she noticed the dark brown hairs and with her hand, she carefully took them and placed them in the empty bowl.

"But how can you be sure these are Kol's hairs? I'm not even sure which coffin belonged to him." asked all of sudden Josh, as he was watching Davina getting prepared for the spell.

"Guess we will find out soon." she snickered and took in her hands the metallic bowl with the salt.
"If you want you can stay and watch."

"Sure I always wanted to see a witch saying some weird things and then a big explosion following. It's a dream coming true."

Davina laughed, rolling her eyes before returning to the preparation. With the salt, she created a big circle around her, standing in the middle of it. With her right hand she was holding the herbs, chanting a spell which instantly turned them into ash. Chanting endlessly, the blue-eyed girl took the bowl with the hairs in her hands, holding them above the ashes.

Abruptly, the hairs turned into a small flame, which made a proud chuckle appear on her face. It was working!

Davina opened her eyes after a few minutes, only to realize that the small flame had vanished as quickly as it had appeared. She did it. The spell was completed.

The silence broke Josh's voice, who had stayed quite all this time.

"Soo....Did it work?" he asked and Davina turned her head towards him.

"Yes. But if he comes or not, it clearly depends on Kol's choice."

She had called Kol Mikealson. And now, there couldn't be second thoughts. Despite Mary Alice's warnings, Davina Claire had called the wildest Original and she couldn't take it back.
