"Aah it feels good to be back home," The young Mikealson let out a deep sigh as he bursted open the door and made himself feel at home.

All Davina did was to roll her eyes at him as she followed soon after, closing the poor door more gently this time. When she turned around to look at him though, the little witch furrowed her brows in utter confusion with her eyes studying warily the Original. "What are you doing?" she asked.

Kol was lying flat on her bed, eyes closed and a scheming smirk plastered on his face. "It's been awhile since I relaxed on a bed like this."

Davina moved her gaze away from him awkwardly. Well, that was her fault, wasn't it? She got him in this mess in the first place.

Placing carefully the peculiar plant on the table, next to her pile of spell books, she gave him another eye roll. "I'm sorry to interrupt your nap time, but we should get starting with that spell don't you think?"

Kol didn't move an inch. His chest kept going up and down slowly as his closed eyelids suddenly twitched, proof that he was still awake. "Mm-hm." he hummed nonchalantly, still ignoring the witch's question.

She was slightly annoyed at the fact the Original was not being corporative and kept laying there.

"Kol!"

Opening his eyes slowly, the young trickster turned his head to her direction and flashed a heart-warming smile, seduction written all over his face. "Yes, love?" the word rolled so smoothly from his tongue, dripping sweet honey along with it.

Again, the malicious devil was resembling a perfect innocent angel that moment, perfectly covering his murderous nature.

Come on Davina, it's not the time to get all emotional here.

"The spell. Now." the girl demanded as she teared her eyes away from the sly vampire, "You wanted this after all. So let's do it."

In the end, Kol indeed decided it would be best not to upset the girl. Even though he didn't want to make it obvious, he really needed her help that moment. His confusing memories were the most important thing to him, his own precious property no one was allowed to touch. No one, up until now, had dared to touch.

Davina flipped her brunette hair behind while she was lighting up the candles in the room. Kol watched as the girl moved around the spacious attic. He smiled playfully.

"Oh we are really getting in the mood here." he teased and approached the table made of ebony. "So this is where the little witch works, huh?"

When she was done with the candles, Davina approached. "Why, isn't this good enough for you?" she smirked.

Kol was standing at the other side of the table, across the girl. His eyes bravely met hers, not even a sign of hesitation. "Oh don't get me wrong. I like this attic. After all, I have so many memories of it."

The sarcasm behind his words made the girl sigh, as she slightly narrowed her bright eyes. "Kol, about that... I'm sorry for bringing you-"

Her words were soon cut short. "Davina Claire, we agreed to forget the past, didn't we?" he tried to light up the mood again with another chuckle of his, "Anyway, we are partners in crime now. So let's focus on the present. Have you brought one of the candles here?"

Davina nodded, glancing at the burning flame of the little candle. "So all I have to do is burn the Bacopa, chant the words you told me and then let you sniffle the smoke? It sounds pretty simple."

"Well actually it is not. It's a rather complicated spell and it requires a big amount of power to make it work. And since you're going to use it for my one thousand year old brain, that's going to make it even harder. Are you up for this challenge, Davina Claire?"
