~Dominic's POV~
Sam's car pulls into my driveway to pick me up, for the mall with the girls. The movie started in 30 minutes so we had to get going. I walked out of my house and got in her car. When I got in they all had the same look on their faces. They honest to god all looked like they had just seen a ghost. Am I missing something here? Did they not want me to come anymore?
"May I ask why all of you look like you just saw a ghost?" I ask them with no laugh or smirk of any kind. If they didn't want me to come anymore then I wasn't going to intrude. "If you don't want me to come anymore just tell me and I'll get out of the car." Sam and Elissa look at Anna whose face is completely white. It's like we're in the car with a ghost.
"No, it's not that. You are still welcome to come if you want to. It's just that you live in my old house." Anna tells me, a tear streaking down her face. The look in her eyes tells a million stories all in of itself, the one single tear lets in so much knowledge by truly letting in none. All I know is memories can truly be a bitch sometimes and they seemed to be tormenting her right now.
"How 'bout some music?" Liz asks.
"I'll put some on!" Anna perks up and says with an evil grin on her face. Shit, this girl is probably going to put on 1D or 5sos. Chicks and their boy bands...
My expectations were shattered, yes it was an all boy band. No it wasn't 1D or 5sos. This girl had Black Veil Brides on. Both she and Sam sang along with the words to In The End while I sit there with my mouth wide open. Anna gives me a weird look and reads my mind.
"What? Were you expecting 1D or 5sos?" she asks laughing. I don't even say anything I just nod, this girl was getting hotter and hotter by the minute. "That would have been the old me..." she says quietly. She has a distant look in her eye again and I can tell that the memories are haunting her again. She doesn't say a word for the rest of the car ride.
When we get to the theater I offer to buy the popcorn and drinks, after we get those we head to the theater room that is playing Mockingjay Part 2. We all sit down in our seats and I end up sitting next to Anna. I lean over and tell her that if she needs a shoulder to cry on I'm right here. She slaps my hand playfully and then her green eyes meet my hazel ones and she just nods. She must have seen it in my eyes that I wasn't joking, I've read the book. I know that this is going to be a sad movie. The movie starts and everything is fine until it comes to the part where Prim dies. Uh-oh, sister dying moment. I look over to Anna and see that she is definitely crying and it's not just a poor Prim from the movie cry. I wrap my arms around her and pull her closer to me. She accepts my hug and starts crying into my shoulder.
"Neither one of them deserved to die." She said and continued to cry. I feel so sorry for her I pat her back.
"I'm sorry." I say hoping I can help her "I never met your sister but I'm sure she was a wonderful person" she nods her head.
"You don't know the real story no one does." She mumbles, answering the one big question that had lingered in my head since Thursday. Now I only had two more questions. What is the real story? And Is Anna her real name?
She eventually calms down enough to start watching the movie again, she stays leaned against me though.
After the movie the girls think it's a good idea to go to Starbucks. We head to the coffee shop and of course Elissa gets a pumpkin spice latte, Sam gets a mocha with chocolate, and Anna gets a toasted graham latte with no whip and almond milk. I just get a regular coffee with no cream or sugar in it. Just plain black coffee. While at Starbucks the girls decide they need private girl time. So I let them talk privately all though I only sat one table away from them so I could clearly make out what they were saying. I wasn't trying to eavesdrop, it's not my fault I heard them say my name. Basically from what I understood they were talking about her and I hugging in the theater while she was sobbing. When girl talk is over it's time to go to Forever 21. Of course when we get there the girls split up, I follow Anna taking this as a chance to talk to her privately.
