Isabel and I laugh together while making pancakes and bacon for my mother and father. It was almost Christmas time and everything was perfect; Dominic and I were closer than ever, Sam, Elissa, and I were not keeping any secrets anymore at all, Isabel has settled in easily and has her own room now. I sometimes hear mom complaining about how Isabel isn't her daughter but not that much. I understand where she is coming from Isabel has changed a lot and some days she doesn't seem like herself but she's been through a lot and so has mom. We've all changed a lot none of us are going to be the same, so I don't expect her to seem the same.
"So are you going to tell me about that kiss with Dominic the other night that I saw from the window when he dropped you off from his house? Speaking of you have been spending a lot of time at his house lately do you still have your v-card sister?" Isabel interrupts my train of thought as I beat the eggs.
"I already told you it was nothing. We're just friends and yes I still have my v-card sis."
"Friends don't kiss each other when they drop each other off their house, or cuddle with each other on the couch while waiting for dinner."
"Ugh, Dad told you about that?"
"Yes he did, and I must say, quite funny if you ask me. Anyone can see that you too are crazy for each other!"
"Does it really matter? It's just high school I don't need to put a label on everything."
"I like how you're thinking."
"Did I just hear the girl who gets a new boyfriend every month say that she likes how I don't need to label a guy just because we are close?"
"I may or may not be getting bored with a new guy each month."
"What are you going to start having a new one every week now?"
"Maybe, you'll just have to wait and see." she winked at me.
"Well, just promise you'll let them down easy?" I ask as I throw flour at her.
"I always do!" she says throwing another handful of flour back at me.
"Oh, it's on!" I say as I throw two handfuls back at her."
We got into a fight throwing flour at each other as we laugh little too loudly because after about 5 minutes we hear a very grouchy mother scream at us from the doorway.
"Isabel! Annabelle! What are you two doing?"
"We're trying to make you and Dad breakfast but we kind of got distracted."
"I see that. Clean it up."
"Yes, ma'am," we said in unison. She left us in the kitchen as we laughed before we started cleaning up.
"I've had a bad case of writer's block." I Explain to Sam as she interrogates me about why I don't have a new chapter for my book on Wattpad up yet.
"That is no excuse... I have writer's block all the time just sit and write what you feel, or if you really do have writers block at least post something saying you have writer's block. Don't just go off the deep end for a while and leave all of your lovely fans to assume the worst!"
"I'm sorry! My life's been pretty hectic recently!"
"I know, I'm sorry I shouldn't pressure you so much about it when you have a lot of drama happening in your life right now already."
"Yeah, I'm still coping with the fact that I was dating a gang member/ psycho killer for 3 years, that same gang member/ psycho killer also shot my sister, then continued to threaten her to join his gang, convinced all of us that my sister was dead for 7 months, Kidnapped me, then I was shot by Elijah Ranchester who is also in the gang, found out my sister had been alive this whole time, the person who told me that was Elijah Ranchester's little brother, my mother's birthday just happened and we surprised her with Isabel, my mother doesn't believe it's her daughter, the guy I like is coming very close to finding out what my real name is, and he lives in my old house. Plus Christmas is right around the corner so it's time to worry about buying people presents! Yippee!!!"
