"Come on people we have 3 days! We don't even have the invitation list done yet?" I shouted, we were all meeting at Sam's house where we were planning my mother's birthday party. Isabel was proven innocent and was released a day after her trial. She was staying at Sam's house and everything was going to plan except for the fact that we had nothing ready."We have the invitation list finished we just haven't gotten a positive yes from a few people yet." Elissa told me.
"Well call them and ask them if they are coming or not!"
"Okay!" Elissa yelled back. She was in charge of the invitation list, Sam was in charge of the decorations, Dominic was in charge of the food, and Isabel was figuring out where we would park the cars and where everyone would hide. I was just the one who helped with everything and was kind of in charge with everything.
"Hey Anna!" Isabel called me, I walked over to her.
"What's up?"
"I'm getting kind of nervous. What is mom like, is she still the same? What is she doesn't want to see me?"
"Isabel, don't worry. Mom, loves you and she has changed a little bit but your daughter dying would change anybody. Trust me she is going to be ecstatic to see you!"
"I hope you're right."
"I am."
"Guess who's favorite aunt is here!" our Aunt Sue yelled from the doorway. I ran up to her and gave her a huge hug, Isabel staying where she was.
"Now what was this surprise you said you had for us?" she asks as my uncle Dennis walked in.
"Well, it's kind of really huge surprise. Please keep your mind open and don't freak out."
"You're scaring me, Anna."
"Just follow me." I said as I led her into the room that Isabel was in. When my aunt saw Isabel she immediately ran over to give her a hug along with my uncle Dennis.
"How is this possible?" my aunt asked.
"I never died." Isabel explained them he story, we didn't tell them the whole story though.
"Wait, so the guy who shot you then forced you to join the gang?"
"Yeah."
"At least you're okay!"
"Wait you haven't told your mother yet?" my uncle asks us.
"No we want to surprise her with it when we have the surprise party." I told them.
"Sounds like a plan." And with that we all started planning, Aunt Sue and Uncle Dennis decided to help with decorations and finding out where to put the cars and everything with Isabel. We planned everything out and eventually got it all figured out. More and more people started to show up and everything was working out perfectly.
3 days later
"I set an alarm for my mother for 9:30 since she normally sleeps in really late on days when she doesn't have work." I tell everyone as we are starting to find places to hide and my Aunt Sue and Uncle Dennis are placing the last few things of food out on the table. Isabel was right outside the door and after we all said surprise and said hi to everyone we will show her Isabel. It is 9:28 am, her phone is going to go off any second now.
Anna: Come downstairs please! I texted my mother so she will see it when her phone goes off. We all hid in different places in the living room, while we waited for her. The house was so quiet we heard her alarm go off, it kept ringing for about 5 minutes before it finally stopped. My phone vibrated.
Mom: What? It's too early. Just tell me on here.
Anna: Just come down here.
Mom: Anna, it's my birthday you come to me.
Anna: Just get down here!
Mom: Fine but you better have breakfast ready. I hear the floors creak from upstairs as she got out of her bed.
"Be ready" I whispered.
"Anna this better be important." My mother said as she walked down the stair. "Anna?" she looks around the living room for us.
"Now" I whispered.
"SURPRISE!" we all jumped up and shouted at the same time. My mother screamed and then when she noticed that everyone was here she started crying. She hugged me and then went to Aunt Sue and Uncle Dennis. After she had said Hi to everyone and gave everyone a hug it was time to show them Isabel.
"Mom, Dad, I have another surprise for you!" I said excited. My dad looked at me confused because we didn't tell him that there would another surprise. I walked into the foyer with them behind me and everyone else behind them. I quickly texted Isabel and asked if she was ready.
"What is it?" my mother asked. "Oh is it a new car?" she asked excitedly, clapping her hands together.
"No, it is something much better than that." I tell her smiling.
"Well, we're waiting." my dad says impatiently.
"Okay ready?" I ask as I place my hand on the door knob.
"Ready!" my mom and dad said in unison I took a deep breath and opened the door Everything was suddenly in slow motion, the moment that my parents saw Isabel their eyes got wide and filled with tears. My mother ran up to Isabel and hugged her while my dad just sat there frozen, looking at her in disbelief.
"H-how is this possible?" my mother asked looking at me and Isabel. Isabel explained that Alexander had threatened her to our parents and my mother started crying even more and my dad looked like he wanted to kill Alexander.
"I'm sorry." she said to our parents after explaining it to them.
"Oh, Isabel I'm just so happy that you are here and that you are okay. It wasn't your fault." Mom choked out through her tears as she pulled Isabel in for another hug.
"Thank you mom." She said crying
"Now let's enjoy some French toast and Pancakes!" I said clapping my hands. We all walked into the kitchen and served ourselves we all joked around and had so much fun while catching up and everything while we ate. The surprise party was perfect and I was so glad to have my sister back.
