Min-Young's POV
-
I took a single step off the plane and I feel the fresh air of Japan. My eyes blinked realizing that I had been holding the line of people yelling at me to move, I ever so quietly tugged on my luggage that was stuck between the crack of the plane and the walkway. I mumbled sorry and kept on dragging my feet forward, I reached for my phone which I was surprised myself I shut off during the whole plane ride, mostly all I did was sleep on the ride having like my small travel iPod with me to listen to music with. I wanted to make sure my phone had full battery when I landed.
I fixed my black beanie almost falling off my head, this was so weird seeing Japanese words, seeing different people, listening to the people speak Japanese. I've gotten used to Korean for the little time I was there. I still remember main words of Japanese but I'm not sure I'll still be good at it, I haven't really spoken Japanese ever since I left Japan I was relying on my broken Korean to get me my way.
I poked my cheek hearing my phone ring once it had opened my lock screen, I waited for everything to load since it was still kinda laggy, I got some texts some calls and I swiped them all away. I went to contacts and scrolled through all of seventeen's and Sophia's numbers, I eventually caught my mothers contact and called her. The ringing pressed against my ear while I waited patiently for her to answer. She told me she was gonna meet me somewhere but I forgot where that certain place was.
"Hello?"
"Mom where are you I'm near the exit."
"So am I hold on let me look for you."
"Alrighty."
"All I see is a girl with pink hair and a old man staring at me."
"Hey mom. I'm that girl by the way." I hung up on her and stared to my right seeing my mom I'm her old clothes and her purse across her chest while she ran as fast as she could up to me. I sighed loudly while wrapping my arms around her, I could hear her faint sniffling and crying into my shoulder.
I giggled a bit while lifting my head up from her small and slump shoulders. "Mom I'm fine, stop crying please." She lifted her head up as well touching my hair playing with it while smiling. We started walking somewhere I really forgot the way home I was depending on my mom for this really, before I moved I knew Japan up and down every single corner and place. But now the place is just like a giant blur to me I can't remember anything.
"So the whole reason that I sent you to Korea was for you to meet your other parent. How'd that go hm?"
"I found him, but he didn't know I was his daughter so I just left it like that." My mother stopped me from moving and widened her old woman eyes and fixed them on mine.
"You found him?!"
"Sure did but mom I'm not gonna just say I'm his daughter."
"N-no I don't have a problem with it honey, it's just you found him . . . Well I'm g-glad you met him again." She stuttered on her words while we escaped from walking in the dark and shade, my eyes feasted upon the sun hitting our faces and all the big green trees blooming up with small little bulbs of pinkness. I rolled my luggage with me glancing at every street, I'm starting to remember this place. One by one I'll be the same old Min-Young I was.
"So anything happen in Korea Min-Young? Anything worthy of telling your mother?" My heart pounded loudly where it felt like dozens of people could hear it clearly. What am I supposed to tell her exactly in an easy way, that I met Minghao my old childhood friend at a cafe where I got lost, met 13 boys, hated one, fell in love with one, left him for good and is still hung up on him? Yeah no easy way to tell my mother that.
"Well I guess there was one person."
"Who?"
"I won't say the name but he made me feel really happy about myself." I smiled to myself while I caught her glancing at me and she was smiling also.
"Another thing . . ."
"Yes?"
"I kinda used all my money on food and uh souvenirs?"
"Min-Young! You were only allowed to use that money on a living space and things to sustain your health."
"Well Korea got me." She chucked in her arm while she coughed a little, she wasn't that old, young actually but throughout all her years of stress she still is the dependable mom and the best one I could ever ask for.
"Tell me all about this guy when we get home Kay?" I nodded my head while taking out my phone seeing Joshua's caller ID show up, I licked my lips then swiped the green button answering it.
"Hey."
"Hey."
"Did you land?"
"Yup."
"Everyone wanted to know so yeah."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"I gotta go but I'll call you later."
"Hey Min-Young."
"Yes?"
"Olive you."
"Olive you too." I chucked while hanging up on him and clutching my beanie pulling it off my head. I sighed loudly, I was missing his voice and that was what I needed really. I glared at my mom seeing her smirk at me and I nudged her in the arm while she pressed the elevator buttons. Bringing us to to the fourth floor which was surprisingly the highest floor. It's a small apartment complex but it's our original home that I wouldn't trade for anything.

I entered my old room almost tearing up at the sight of all my EXO posters still there and my bed made perfectly with the window closed. I dropped my luggage onto the carpet and ran over to the window opening it letting it shine on the walls while I fell into my sheets. I rolled my eyes while feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket, I clutched it and saw there was a call from Joshua, it ended before I could accept it. I few seconds later I got a text from him saying. Check the mail.
"Min-Young! Something came in the mail for you!" I literally jumped out of bed and ran out the door. My mom held out a cardboard box clutched in her wrinkly hands and I snatched it from her hands and looked at the stamps and the paper taped to it. From Korea. I slowly sat down on my bed letting my fingers open the box really quietly and slowly. Whatever was in there I didn't want to ruin it. My eyes feasted on the stack of pictures in one corner of the box that I'll go over in a minute. I grabbed a small two boxes in my hands one pink and one blue that both was labeled with Boys Be.
There was some more things in the thing but instead I left them for later while I heard my mom screaming at me. Jeez it hadn't been a day yet and my mom is already yelling at me. I got up and walked out the door leaving the package sitting on my bed with all the pictures laid out. I blinked my eyes and smiled while feeling a tear trail my face while I gently shut the door closed.
