For @WAxlRose
-1987-
You were staying at a hotel room in Pasadena, California. You were coming on a business trip since you were working for a call center and they needed trainers to come and work at their center for a few weeks. It was a pretty sweet deal, since they whole trip was payed for; Hotel rooms, food. You even got a car to drive in and a company credit card to spend for Gas, Groceries and other necessities. it was after midnight already and you had to be up and at work by eight. After you got in bed you could hear loud music coming from across the hall. You liked music and were down with people doing what they wanted and being who they wanted to be. But your sleep was pretty important to you. You sat up and turned the bedside lamp on. You grabbed the telephone off the receiver and dialed one for the front desk. It rang twice before the desk picked up. "Hello, front desk. How can I help you?" "Hi, I'm in room three-twenty two and the people across the hall are playing music really loud. I just wanted to know if you could tell them to turn it down just a tad, is that possible?" "The room across from you, what number is the room or do you not know?" The front desk woman questioned. "I'll go look, hold on." You sat the phone down on the nightstand and grabbed your silk robe throwing it over your shoulders, since you were just peeking your head out you didn't bother putting shoes on. You opened your room door and looked down both side of the hallway, as soon as you looked out the door across from you opened. The same place the loud music was coming from, you recognized the music as the Rolling Stones. Out stepped a man wearing leather pants, with a redish pink top and cowboy boots. His hair was red or strawberry blonde and he had a bandanna tied across his forehead. And Boy- was he good looking. He was what you would call a 'rocker', you'd obviously seen a lot of guys in leather and stuff like that, but not like this. He wore his look so well, and his face was gorgeous. Perfect jawline, and when his eyes glanced your way, you didn't know how to feel. You felt vulnerable, but intrigued you wanted to talk to this guy. You had to talk to him. He closed the hotel room door behind him, he looked you up and down. "Hello?" You were surprised when he stopped to talk to you. You also realized he was looking you up and down because you still had your PJ's on. "Hello." He leaned against the opposite wall and lit a cigarette. You remembered why you'd come out of your hotel room to begin with, 'cause this guy and his friends (assuming he had friends in there) were playing music too loud. "What are you doing this fine evening?" He questioned, waving his arms. "Well, actually I was going to tell you your music was too loud." He nodded his head. "That's just my friend Slash." What kind of name was Slash, oh, you're in California now. "Interesting name." You mumbled. He stuck his hand out for you to shake. "I'm Axl- Axl Rose." You leaned forward and grabbed his hand. "Nice to meet you, Axl. I'm Y/N." Axl firmly shook your hand, before stepping forward and placing a kiss on the top of it. "I'll go tell my pal to turn his music down." Axl said, walking to his room. He knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. "Coming!" Axl laughed. And after a few seconds a tall, blond man opened the door. "Hey, Ax that didn't take you long." "No, I haven't been to the store yet, Duff." Axl walked in leaving you standing in the hallway, this Duff guy looked at you. "Hey, there. Are you- like- do you know Axl?" He questioned, looking at your body. "No, I just met him in the hall. I asked him to turn your guys music down." Duff nodded. "Yeah, sorry. I didn't know anybody else was on this floor really." "Well, I am. I'm right here actually." You pointed to your room just across from them. "Cool, why don't you come in and have a beer or something." You thought it over in your head, knowing it wasn't really a good idea. A room full of guys, drinking. And the fact you had to get up in the morning. "I don't know, I have to go to work tomorrow." You confessed. "Aw, come on, just one." Duff pleaded, you nodded your head. "Fine, let me put some different clothes on." You opened your room door. "Okay, I'll leave this door open for ya." Duff walked back into his room, as you walked into yours. You quickly threw some jeans and a tee shirt on, checking in the mirror to make sure you didn't look like you'd been to bed. Before walking across the hall and into Axl and Duff's room, automatically getting hit strongly with cigarette smoke and the smell of alcohol. Once you were in there you saw two other guys sitting around. "You want me to shut this?" You questioned, looking around them. Duff looked up. "Yeah, sure thing." He stood up from the end of the bed. "I'm Duff, by the way never really introduced myself." "I'm Y/N." Duff walked over to the mini fridge in the room. "Here's that beer, I promised." He handed it to you. Axl was standing in the corner of the room, talking to a guy with long black curly hair and no shirt on, he looked your way acknowledging you. "Here I forgot to get the lid off for you." Duff said, putting his hand out for the bottle back. "Oh, no problems. I got it." You said, putting the top of the beer on the TV stand and easily popping the cap off. Axl and the shirtless guy walked over to you. "Hey, I was coming to get you. Here this is Slash he wanted to meet you." Axl introduced. You held your hand out. "Nice to meet you Slash, I'm Y/N. Can I ask a dumb question?" Slash shook your hand. "Ask away." He said with a laugh. "Are you guys a band?" Axl laughed. "Yes, we are and quite popular. You ever heard of Guns N' Roses- or you watch much tv?" You laughed a little at his accent, the name Guns N' Roses sounded familiar but you weren't sure you'd ever heard anything by them. "No, I don't really have time for TV." "Well, do you listen to music ever?" Axl questioned. "Well of course, nothing from this generation though. I'm into sixties stuff mostly, I like the Stones. I heard you guys listening to them." "See you're cool after all!" Axl said, putting his hand on your shoulder. You took a long drink of beer. "Dude, you need to meet Izzy then, he's a Rolling Stones fanatic." Slash said, looking over to a black headed guy standing on the balcony. "Hey, Izzy!" Slash called, this guy turned around. "What?" "Come here." This guy walked over to everyone, he was wearing washed out black jeans, white short sleeved button down that could seriously use a wash and black tennis shoes. "This is Y/N, she likes the Stones." Izzy shrugged. "Okay." Well, this guy is super nice. "Don't be an ass, Jeff." Axl said. Izzy rolled his eyes, and stubbed his cigarette out in a nearby ash tray. "Sorry for being an ass, I'm Izzy Stradlin." He rocked back and forth on his feet. "I like your name, I'm Y/N as you now know." "Thanks, what other bands do you like?" Izzy questioned. "Um, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, The Hollies, Rod Stewart, The Velvet Underground. Stuff like that." He nodded. "Pretty sweet, do you like any of Lou Reed's solo stuff?" Izzy asked, before grabbing a pack of cigarettes out of his shirt pocket and lighting another. "Yeah, I've listened to some of it. Transformer, but no others really. I heard a live record, like a bootleg type thing not to long ago that had a bunch of stuff on it. Can't think of the name now." "Have you ever heard Queen?" Axl asked, drawing your attention back to him. "Yeah, I've heard some stuff, Freddie's got a set of pipes that's for sure." Axl nodded. "That's for sure." Just then a blond guy came bouncing in the door. "Hey, Steven." Slash greeted, the short blond smiled a huge smile. "What's up, why is everybody standing in the middle of the floor?" "We're talking to Y/N, come over here and meet her." Axl said, slipping his arms around you casually. This Steven guy came bounding over. "Hi, I'm Steven Adler." "Popcorn." Duff yelled, from behind you. What about popcorn? You held your hand out. "Nice to meet you, Steven. I'm Y/N." He shook your hand warmly. "Where are you from, by the way you have a really interesting accent?" Slash asked. "Oh, I'm from (someplace?), I'm here on business. I work at a traveling call center." "That's pretty rad, they pay for you to stay here or do you have to spend your own money?" Slash questioned. "No I get a company car and they pay for the room. If I want to buy anything like souvenir's or anything I have to pay, but otherwise it's payed for." "Wait, are we keeping you up?" Duff asked, throwing another beer back. "Well, I do have to be at work by eight, what time is it?" Axl moved his arm off your shoulder and looked at his wrist watch. "It's five til two." "I should really be getting back to my room then, I've got to work all day tomorrow." "Aw, well, it was cool meeting you Y/N." Slash said, throwing an arm around you, you gave him a awkward side hug back. "It was really nice meeting you guys." "Hey, maybe we can hang out sometime?" Duff offered. "We can show her the record stores." Izzy suggested, biting his dry lips. "Sounds great, I'll be across the hall for another week or more, so.." "Hey, I'll walk you to your room." Axl said, already walking to the door. "See ya'." Steven waved happily, before opening a bottle of Jack. "Bye." You followed Axl out the door and across the hall, he leaned forward and shut his room door. "I've really liked talking to you, Y/N. You seem like a really smart gal." You unlocked your own room door. "That's really nice, thanks, Axl. I've liked talking to you too." You leaned against the door frame not wanting for Axl to leave just yet. "I know, I said- I need to get up early, but do you want to come in for a minute?" You questioned, hoping you weren't making a fool out of yourself for asking him this. He gave you a grin. "That'd be great." You moved out of the way and he walked in, you followed him and shut the door once he was in your room. "Your room looks different than ours." He said, looking around. Axl turned to look at you, a look in his eyes you couldn't recognize. He walked over to you with a strut, running his hands up and down your arms lightly. Your arms crept up around his neck, bringing you two closer then before. "So how long did you say you would be in California?" Axl questioned, wrapping his arms and you. "At least another week and a half." You answered. "I gotta ask you a question then?" You nodded. "Will you go out with me sometime before you go?" You smiled at him. "I'd love too, Axl." He brushed his right hand across your cheek. "You're a real beautiful girl, Y/N." "I love all these compliments." You smiled, blushing. Axl grabbed your chin softly, pulling your face close to his. Giving you a sweet, tender kiss on the lips. Butterflies were erupting in your body from head to toe, you really weren't the type to be making out with random men in hotel rooms, but something about Axl made this situation so different. You ran your fingers through his long, strawberry hair. He brushed his rough thumb across your face, taking in your features, his other hand tight around you. You could feel the heat rising between you both, as kisses became passionate and urgent. With one swift motion, you jumped in his arms, he was a lot stronger than you expected. He held on to you as he walked forward to the bed, laying you both down. You didn't get much sleep that night.
(Sorry kinda bad, I'm back from vacation though. I'm gonna try to get all my requests done. Hope you enjoyed.)
