The dinner had been prepared Freddie had really went all out with this one, a dozen candles lit and placed at random along the dining area it was very beautiful and very special. He was so special in himself and you knew he wanted everything to be perfect tonight as did you. You had worn a new dress you had purchased and always around your neck wore a stunning heart shaped pendent Freddie had bought you back when you two were just dating. "Well, does everything seem nice enough for you, love?" Freddie question coming and putting his arms around you. "Oh, absolutely. This is very special, dear." Freddie leaned in and placed a kiss on your temple before removing his arms and walking over to the dining table, he pulled out one of the chairs. "Come sit, darling. Let's eat our dinner." You walked over and sat down in the seat, before Freddie scooted you closer to the table. He walked around to the other end and sat down across from you. "Thank you so much for preparing all of this." You smiled, looking down at your dinner, before digging into the spread. "It was no problem, my darling. This is our day, and there is nothing I would rather do than share it with you, and lavish you with a nice dinner." You and Freddie ate exchanging quite conversation, and loving glances at one another until you had finished dinner and the desert which you had prepared- A Vegan cheesecake! Now you two were sitting on the couch with a fire lit in the fireplace, relaxing and talking over a glass of wine. "This has been a lovely day." You said, taking a sip of your Château Latour. "Of course it has been since I got to spend it with you. But I have another surprise to give to you." Freddie grinned, sitting his glass of wine down on the coffee table. "Ohh, a Surprise. I can't wait, let me get you your Anniversary gift." You stated walking over to you purse to grab out the personalized Gold necklace you had gotten made for him. Of course it was wrapped beautifully and once unwrapped it had been placed in a velvet box. You walked back over to the sofa having retrieved your gift. You sat anxiously, wondering what it was Freddie had gotten you. He never did fall short on surprises or gifts so it should be something rather beautiful. He trotted into the room a few moments later with a smile spread across his face. He held a medium sized box in his hands, that had been wrapped in what looked like silk. "Let's exchange gifts now, Love." He smiled, placing his present in your hands. You could already feel tears pricking the back of your eyes just thinking about him going out and buying you a gift. It was so nice knowing you were loved by the man of your dreams. "Well, here is your present." You said, handing him the small elongated box. "Thank you, Love." You both began to undo the wrapping on your presents, Freddie getting his undone first. He looked down awestruck at the beautiful piece of jewellery. "This is absolutely gorgeous, Candance." He ran his index finger along the interlocking gold chain. As you unveiled what lay beneath the wrapping on your present. It was a vintage Jewelry box, it was absolutely breathtaking. The little nobs that opened the drawers were large pearls, the inside was lane with the most beautiful cream silk. "Open the bottom drawer, Darling." Freddie spoke, putting his golden chain around his neck. You did as he said and opened the drawer inside was a folded piece of paper. You gently unfolded it and began to read the words in Freddie's handwriting, it was the most beautiful thing he'd ever written - it was a love letter to you. And tied to the bottom with a small piece of string was a diamond and ruby ring. After carefully reading each word of the letter, you untied the ring seeing the words Forever yours engraved into the back of the golden band. Large tears streamed down your face as you could not in anyway shape or form stop yourself from crying at the sweetness of your darling husband. He quickly embraced you whispering how much he loved you into you ear. Truly you two were so lucky to have found each other.
