Axl sat in the high back director style chair his name printed on the back in bold letters. He was backstage at the Orpheum Theatre with Andy Morahan, the director of the latest video Guns N' Roses was to be putting out.
"Well you've finally narrowed it down to ten pictures I see." Andy commented, looking over Axl's shoulder. "Yeah, finally. What's your opinion, come look at these." Andy circled around and looked at the ten pictures in front of the lead singer, each picture was of a different and very beautiful young woman. Andy pointed his finger at one of the photos, "This one's a lovely little bird." Axl nodded and held up a different picture. "What about her?" Andy looked at the picture, "Looks perfect."
"Should we get the assistant to give her a call back then?" Axl asked unsure. "If that's who you've chosen to be in the video with you." Axl nodded admiring the picture, "Yeah, this is her."

You sat in the living room of your apartment in Hollywood watching MTV. It had been almost a two weeks since you went and auditioned for a the new Guns N' Roses music video that was sat to be filmed over the course of the next few months. You didn't really know if you'd get a call back or not, since there were so many other women there wanting the part. You didn't have a whole lot of hopes for getting the part, but you were an aspiring actress and you had been a fan of Guns N' Roses for a while. It was worth a shot. Your eyes glanced over at the clock on the wall, before the phone rang out. You picked up the receiver. "Hello is this Lana Whitley?" You played with the ends of your honey coloured hair. "Yes, that's me." "My name is Terra Smith I work with auditioning, we met before at the audition. You have received the call back for the audition you attended for the Guns N' Roses music videos shoot." The woman on the other end spoke in a monotone voice. A smile grew on your face. "Wonderful, thank you so much. So, what's the next step?" You questioned. "If you can the director and the band would like to meet you and we'll start with a test shoot." "Sounds great, what time?" "One o'clock this Saturday." "Alright, I'll be there. Thank you very much." "Sure thing, Lana. See you then." You hung the phone up excitedly, not knowing what to think about the sudden amazing news. Out of all the girls, they'd picked you! It was amazing, you immediately got up and went to pick out something to wear for Saturday.

Axl stood next to Duff as the cinematographer sat up the test shooting for the video, quite a few of the scenes had already been shot, but the rest lacked the leading female. "So, we're waiting on that chick to show up?" Duff questioned, turning to Axl, who stood watching the scenery closely. Axl nodded, "Yeah, we are." Just then Terra and Andy came walking over to the set with a beautiful girl, Andy was talking to her as they approached. Axl's eyes locked on her as the trio came over. "Axl, Duff our video girl is here." Andy said, waving his hand in the direction of the beautiful female. Axl stuck his hand out. "Hello there, I'm Axl."
You were mesmerized by the whole scenery. Axl held his hand out to you, which you took in your own. "I'm Lana, It's nice to meet you." He smiled, showing his white teeth. "Its a pleasure to meet you, are you ready for the test shots?" You nodded, "Absolutely." Duff walked up to you from behind Axl. "Hey there, I'm Duff." You waved, "Hello- I'm Lana." Andy cut in, "I say we go to wardrobe and get the ball rolling." Another woman came up to you and started pulling you away. Axl smiled at you, as you made your way out. You were pulled into the dressing area- Terra followed you and this other person into the room. "Let's start with something simple for Don't Cry." Terra said directing her comment at the few people scattered around you. "What about this?" Another random person held an outfit up to you. Terra squinted, "No try again, simple. Jeans, Tee shirt, you know- girl next door." The same person come back a second later with another outfit, "This?" "Yes that, try it on please, Lana." Terra said. You took the clothes in your hands and one of the wardrobe people come back behind a large screen with you and helped style the outfit. "Now let's go back to the set." The person said, directing you towards another part of the set. "This is a really nice place." You exclaimed, walking with the wardrobe assistant. "This is Axl's house." "Wow, that's amazing." "Yeah, it really is. I wish I could afford to live in a place like this. I'm Marie, by the way." "Nice to meet you, I'm Lana." She laughed, "Oh I know, Axl has been talking about how gorgeous you are, since he picked your picture a week ago." You looked over at her shocked, "You're joking?" She nodded her head 'no'. "Ask anyone around, they'll tell you the same thing." You two walked into the hallway area in silence. Did someone as famous as Axl Rose, really have a thing for you? It was really exciting to think that maybe he liked you, he was so good looking and it wasn't like you didn't like him back. Any girl would dream of going out with him. Andy walked in with Axl, and a large camera was sat up and three people were standing there waiting to operate it. "Are you ready Lana? Since it's a music video, there isn't any lines, but come read over this- so you can kind of see what we are wanting from the shot." You walked over and stood next to Axl, Andy handed you a large 'script'. And pointed down on the paper, "See from here to here." You nodded, "Will do, thanks." Axl looked over your shoulder as you read, you could smell his expensive cologne, and just feel the heat radiating of his body. After a few minutes of reading the lines, you sat the paper down. "I hope I do okay at this." You spoke, looking at Axl. "It won't be too bad, you'll do it perfectly. I hope- I do alright. This is like- I don't know, kind of deep stuff." Axl spoke, looking down at his sneakers. "Well- It's your video. So, you'll be great. If it's not too personal, is this like a true story or something?" Axl looked back up at you. "Yeah, it's sort of about someone I was with a long time ago, I don't know. It's done now, but a friend of mine wrote this story and I got inspired by it really. I had went through a really dark patch in my life and my music is really the best way for me to get it out." "Wow, that's really interesting. And that's really amazing of you to want to put the story out, and like really get over all those bad aspects of you life. It's brave of you." Axl smiled genuinely, "You're a nice girl, and thanks. I just try to live- you know?" You shook your head. "Yeah, try to take it day by day." Axl cleared his throat, "You know, Lana. We're gonna be working together a lot, how would you feel about going out with me?" You looked up at Axl not knowing if you heard him properly. "You want to go out with me?" He ran a hand threw his Strawberry Blond hair. "I'd like too, but if you have a boyfriend or something, you know you don't have too." You shook your head, "No, I don't have a boyfriend. Axl, I'd love to go out with you." He smiled at you, "Great, hows Friday sound?" "Sounds wonderful." He leaned closer to you, "I'd really love to get to know you better." You smiled, "I can say the same." Andy walked back over, "Okay places people."
