Okay, so all of the scenes might not be word for word or in the books. They won't be completely true. I made up some scenes and stuff. The POV will be Percy, then Annabeth, and repeating. You can tell who is who. Dedicated to epicwolfblood , _Silena_ and sunandsam for supporting! 😀
I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said, "I'll never let you go"
I looked down at Annabeth, determined. "Never," I said. And I let go and fell into Tartarus with Annabeth. Together.
When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said, "Don't leave me here alone"
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight
"Percy! Percy!" I screamed, flailing around in the River Cocytus. I couldn't see him. I dived under and felt around, looking for a shirt or something I could grab onto. I finally got a hold of him, but what I saw when I pulled him up shocked me. His normally bright eyes were dull and a dark greyish colour, unlike my own, which were lightish grey. I couldn't think of anything else to do. I kissed him. And slowly, the colour returned to his beautiful eyes. "Don't leave me here alone," he croaked. "Never," I replied.
Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound
I looked at Annabeth, who was peacefully sleeping. I wished we could just get out of Tartarus already. I wanted to see the light of a sunrise, and the darkening of a sunset again.
Don't you dare look out your window darling
Everything's on fire
The war outside our door keeps raging on
Hold onto this lullaby
Even when the music's gone
Gone
Percy looked up at me sleepily. "What happened?" He asked. I explained what happened and how we were in the hut thing and how Damasen healed him. "Rest," I said. "I can't sleep," Percy replied. So I sang. He slowly drifted off to sleep, smiling contentedly. The lullaby hung in the air, like a warm, fuzzy blanket, even when I stopped singing.

Annabeth and I huddled together in the elevator, trying to keep warm. I was bloody, bruised, and happier than anything. We were safe and sound.

Percy and I stumbled outside, and for the first time (IN FOREVER!!!! Sorry, couldn't help myself. Read on) in what felt like years, the bright morning light hit our eyes, momentarily blinding us. But we were okay. Alright.
