Eve

When Charlotte texted me, demanding a house party in my empty house, I tried extremely hard to get out of it. I claimed that I was sick and vomiting everywhere but she didn't buy it. Hence why there is currently a major rave going on downstairs, music blaring ridiculously loudly. Max has the weekend off work and he's taken Benji to LEGOLAND as a treat. Happy as I am that they're spending some much needed time relaxing, I really did not need a house party right now.
Especially a crazy, out of control one like it is turning into.

At the moment I'm hiding in my bedroom from Mike who is demanding that we make out. Half the people downstairs right now I've never even seen, let alone spoken to. Offer a teenager free alcohol and they'd do anything. It's kind of sad really. I'm pacing round my room, trying to figure out how to get out of this mess when I hear a massive smash from somewhere downstairs. That sounded valuable...

I stalk towards my door and open it. Or try too; my door is locked. Is this some kind of joke?! I'm locked in my own bedroom while there's a crazy house party going on downstairs.

I slump down on the bed in frustration, just as something hits my window making me jump.

Standing up, I head to the window and fling it open. My next door neighbour is staring intently at me. This is the first time I've actually faced him since he pulled Mike off me.

"Can you keep the noise down?" He grunts, looking frustrated.

"You really think I'm in control of this party?"

"It's your house innit?"

"I'm locked in my own fucking room?!"

"Calm down princess."

"I'm not a princess."
"OK princess."

"Fuck you!"

"If you wanted to sleep with me, you could have just asked politely."

"You're an arse." I growl in irritation, ignoring my blushing cheeks.

"And you're not the first person to call me that." His dark eyes wouldn't leave mine and I found my chest tightening randomly.

His eye contact was overpowering, the brown colouring so dark they almost appear black. My neighbour doesn't realize this, but what with the light of his bedroom being framed by the window, his figure is almost silhouetted. It feels as though I'm in the presence of a Greek God. Holy shit, how can one boy be so...divine?

There's a sudden slam against my door, knocking me out of my daze and allowing me to take a much needed breath.

"Why'd you lock yourself in?" Mike shouts drunkenly from the other side of the door.

I let out a frustrated groan and turn away from the guy still watching from the window in amusement.

"You locked me in you idiot." I reply to my boyfriend and then glance over my shoulder to see the window empty.

"Uh Eve..." Leo calls uneasily. "He's lost the key."

"He what?" That came out much louder than I expected, but I'm overly angry at Mike right now. "DO YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY MICHAEL?"

Kicking the door hard, I curse in frustration and ignore the dull pain in my foot.

If they can't find the key, I'll be stuck in here for God knows how long. Mike doesn't reply to my comment and that just fuels my anger. Everyone in this house is pissed bar me. None of them are thinking rationally and I really doubt they care about finding the darn key.
